Service and food was awful. My food arrived cold and inedible. I complained, but nothing done. I have been a member of the ROH for years, and been to this restaurant many times, but this was chaotic and very poor. Won't be going again.

Do not recommend for this price. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and services, classy food presentation, however the food tasted like from Tesco's. Ceviche tasted like nothing, monkfish overcooked and even had a dry skin formed; duck oversmoked and lamb either not great. For food, £70 per two tiny portions.The wine...

Although we had visited the ROH on many occasions previously, we had not eaten here. It is in a stunning location and convenient to reach for the interval dessert and coffee option. So for our first return visit post Covid, it was a ‘must’. The menu was interesting and seasonal and ordering in advance actually enhanced...

FORMAL DINING
With unrivalled views over the Paul Hamlyn Hall, the Balconies Restaurant offers the best in modern, British fine dining.
LOCATION
The Balconies Restaurant is on the mezzanine level of the Paul Hamlyn Hall. To access the Hall, use the staircase from the foyer, or the grand staircase from the historic Bow Street entrance. There are glass staircases on each side of the Hall to access the mezzanine.
All our restaurants and bars have step-free access, the lift on the left-hand side of the Main Stage auditorium provides access to the Balconies Restaurant.
OPENING TIMES
The restaurant is open for dining around performances and is only available to ticket holders.
