Incredibly poor lighting in the designer makeup department, leading me to being "colour matched" with the wrong shade. The assistant did her best under the circumstances, but I now find myself needing to spend nearly £60 on a concealer instead of £30 as I will now need to buy a second, elsewhere. I don't understand how a store can run a professional beauty department with such obviously poor lighting.

Reena from Bare Minerals was friendly and helpful. Her bubbly personality made the shopping experience so fun. She answered my questions and recommended products. Happy to shop again!

Appalling Customer Service Experience at BootsI recently had the most astonishingly poor experience at your Boots store, which has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. This incident occurred today, 03/10/23 around 6:30pm. Allow me to narrate the series of unfortunate events that transpired during my visit. On Sunday the 1st of October Upon arriving, I found the ?brand? counter unattended, so I approached another staff member nearby to request a specific perfume. I didn't even ask to try it, as I knew precisely what I wanted. After paying for the product, I returned home only to discover that the perfume bottle inside the box was not the one I had requested; it was a completely different colour.I returned to Boots today, 03/10/23 to explain the situation, and my encounter with Ian, one of your staff members, was nothing short of shocking. From the very beginning, he displayed a negative attitude, failing to listen to my side of the story. He escorted me to speak with the lady from the brand, who, to her credit, understood the situation perfectly since the boxes for both perfumes were identical. However, Ian continuously interrupted her, attempting to shame me and obstruct her from making the exchange that was clearly warranted.Despite the lady from the brand's willingness to assist, Ian persisted with his rudeness. He even had the audacity to insist I pay an additional £20, claiming that the sale had ended. I explained that this was merely an exchange and that I had purchased the item on Sunday when it was on sale. Ian remained uncooperative, going so far as to threaten, "we will see if you won't pay."He then took it upon himself to remove all the points I had accumulated on my Advantage card, totaling over 700 points. After I questioned this action, Ian dismissed my concerns and asserted it was not his responsibility. So the lovely lady from the brand came back and said she was giving the pints back, again Ian said I was entitled to all points and made up a number she should add back.Seeking resolution, I requested to speak with the manager. However, my interaction with Will, the manager, proved equally exasperating. He exhibited the same behavior of talking over me and defending his team member Ian?s actions, even condoning Ian's disrespectful behavior. Shockingly, instead of addressing Ian's need for more respectful and understanding conduct, Will scolded the lady from the brand for assisting me.I am utterly speechless at the unacceptable behavior I encountered during my visit to Boots. I have long regarded Boots as my preferred destination for beauty and toiletries, but this experience has shaken my confidence in your brand. I am now forced to seek alternative options as I cannot continue to spend my money in a place where such disgraceful behavior seems to be condoned as standard practice.I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the lady from the brand, whose name I won't disclose here to prevent further reprimand. Her assistance was the only positive aspect of this ordeal, and I genuinely appreciate her efforts. This experience has left me deeply disheartened, and I hope that my feedback will prompt some reflection and necessary changes in the way your staff members treat valued customers. Boots has lost a loyal customer, and I can only hope that such incidents are not commonplace in your stores.

It does not get more better than Boots. They have everything and more. I had an emergency at 22 o'clock in the evening, and searched online for a pharmacy- lo and behold, the one at Liverpool Street Station was open until 23. Thank you, Boots! Love it!

I dont even wanted to give one star. The staff was extremely rude. A patient might be dead by the time they complete their formalities. I was an emergency patient 111 and they refused to give me medicine just because one single stamp was missing. I am new to the country and dont know much ways around. This was my first medical emergency ever and this country showed me its okay for a person to die just because they dont have a "stamp" on their prescription. Even though there were other things like signature and address and name present. How was it my fault. It was the doctor's fault even though after asking if there are any formalities that needs to be done. I hope someday those two employees might be going through emergency and pain and they get rejected from getting medicine!!!!

OMG! Save yourself from the tedious, boring and lazy attitude of the staff at the perfume shop! A thousand bottles of perfume and when I asked for an specific fragrance, they just answered ?we don?t sell Woody perfumes here? what about Tom ford? ?If it?s not here then they?re not selling it anymore? ?better go to Stratford? basically ?computer says no? (little Britain fans will understand me) a total unprofessional and disregarded service, not interest at all on the client needs and a total lack of knowledge on their field, I recommend a short walk to Spitalfields market, at least they pretend they like you! ?

Went in store today to buy toothpaste, all the toothpaste was on the wrong shelves, not with their pricing. When I found the one which was marked at £2, it rang up as £5. I told staff, they said they are too busy (what to price products accurately!!??) then another member of staff assisted me, as I wanted the toothpaste for £2. He was also dismissive, no apology and just patronising, no acknowledgement of their mistake and that I was asking to raise a complaint, he just ignored and steam rolled on repeating himself over and over again

Nice staff but it is often very busy so you may not find everything you?re looking for due to higher demand than usual

avoid going on a sunday morning, they will often have fire escapes closed as they don't want to pay for security early morninghave addressed this a number of times and told that they have been told they can do this for security (profits above safety) whoever has giving this information is wrong, as soon as the store is open all escapes must be clear and opened

A very large Boots store in close proximity to the Underground and Overground lines. It overs a large number of self check outs for quick exit. It also includes pharmacy, photo, opticians, hearing care in a subterranean setting

Went over to Dior after a stressful day in the office to be greeted by the loveliest employee ever. Maisy was absolutely lovely, after the day I had she really made it better. She helped me with picking out a new lip gloss and balm! Real gem and would recommend this Dior beauty bar to anyone!

It's a simple boots, pity that more than once I found it opening late and for this reason I was unable to buy emergency medicines before traveling .Normally from a large boot inside a station you expect it to open at the right time and cover a wider range, counting that those who travel statistically need to buy medicines.

The staff here are nice but the pharmacy is a JOKE. People are waiting in line and they?re doing a stock check online (do it when it?s quiet!!) Also the boomer boss man - left hand side - could have done it himself but he made the poor dude on the right check everything so he didn?t have to press the buttons on the no-doubt 1950s computer. Then they have the audacity to have a sign up saying don?t abuse staff.Of course we didn?t but I can see why people get irate!!

The staff was friendly, the only thing that I can complain not only in this store but in almost Boots stores it is that when you buy to Chanel, Dior or YSL none of them give you samples or the paper bag even though these brands provide it. They hand you the product and just ask you to pay.
