I dropped a Hermes parcel off here on 31 August.....mysteriously it has disappeared with the latest tracking point being me dropping off at the shop, and I now have to try and claim from Hermes for this item which was over £100. My trust in this location is extremely low.

Totally agree with Jacques Austein's review. Just avoid them if you are bringing your Hermes packgage. They always have loads of excuse to not receive your parcel. The staff in that store are not bothered at all. I went to that store twice in the last couple of months to drop off my parcel, everytime they told me they have no receipts, machine is broken. This Co-op store should be removed as Parcel shop. Please avoid this store and use other parcelshop even they are far from you.

Do not bring Hermes packages here. I came yesterday and they had no receipts. Today the machine is broken. Utter time wasters. Avoid.

Co-op Food at Ludgate Circus like most branches of their "Food" stores in London has been recently refurbished with the new Co-op styling and branding from the outside but from the inside, the store doesn't feel to have felt that improvement. The store is accessed by three or four steps, there is a hidden disabled entrance with a lift however this doesn't appear to be used, I was told you had to phone the store (pretty ridiculous) with no buzzer or bell to open the door which is locked. (Makes no sense!) The store is pretty small, the aisles were pretty narrow and in certain areas such as the row of sweet treats near the till there was only room for single-file walking anyway. The staff seemed friendly enough but were super slow. Many rival stores nearby such as Sainsbury's Local and Little Waitrose, with St Pauls Cathedral and many other stores and eateries a short walk in the other direction, makes me wonder how this place manages to compete. The prices were also pretty high, with a standard 4 pint of milk, for example, costing around 40% more than it would back in Manchester. The unwelcoming, old, narrow, small feel of the store with high-end unwarranted prices, even for London standards, adding into the slow service at the checkout area do let the store down. 1*

States clearly that it opens daily at 6am but from 6:20 to 6:40 i waited outside. Even knocked to see if i could get someone's attention but nothing. False advertising, do not advertise that you open at 6am because you CLEARLY DO NOT.

Nice store - But recently has a weird smell due to a water leak a couple weeks ago. Has wheel chair access round the corner from main entrance

I like this one. Good layout and easy to find what you need. Small but well stocked.
Can be busy, but never had to queue for that long.

A great store with everything you'll need plus a great range of alcohol including ciders! Open fairly late on most public holidays too. Staff were friendly.
