Lady at the cashier didn't accept the only note I carried because had a little cut. Same lady who once gave me wrong changes in return.

The Co-op Food in London is a mini supermarket, I would say it's more akin to a corner shop however while the aisles are quite small and cramped they do have a lot of deals, especially for students which was a nice touch. We've visited here several times anytime we go to stay at next doors hostel we can come here to get bits and pieces. I haven't used the manned desk but the self-checkouts are always good and fast to scan and sort out what you need. The place is very tidy and there is a security guard who just watches people which I guess is his job but it doesn't feel comfortable knowing you're being watched.

If not necessary, please skip this store. The staff or guard always idles and there are so many shelves empty. Also, there some suspicious characters keep peeping into the store during the night. It?s really horrible.

Unacceptable that cashier can be eating / licking her ice cream with one hand and serving with another and not think how simply bad that is to do while serving customers. I am sure company provides breaks for their staff

This Co-op is very small so you might not find everything in it, but it can be practical if you don?t wanna go all the way up to kings cross. What I found strange is that water is more expensive than at M&S Kings Cross, also I noticed there were many references missing on the shelves.

Very poor supermarket. Saturday evening 8pm very quiet, staff sitting idle but no baskets at all at entrance. Very little stock anywhere. Wine fridges virtually empty, and also broken. All bottles warm.Do yourself a favour, there are numerous better supermarkets nearby.

Only has a limited supply of essentials. This is what you would expect from a small local co-op. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Good place and okay selection of things, but everytime that I've been in over the past week, the shelves have basically been empty in the meal deal/drinks section so I could never get what I want. The tills also don't have a lot of space at all, there's shelves right behind you
