My order : Naked Victoria SpongeMy situation was unexpected due to the original baker I commissioned to make a birthday cake for my partners birthday, cancelled. The service I received from Theo was great, after an in depth conversation he helped me get a cake sent for next day delivery.Presentation wise looked stunning as you can see from the photos, my only discrepancy is the taste.. we were so excited to have a slice but the sponge was hard and really quite dry with lack of flavour. So much so no one really wanted a piece. I feel for the price of a small cake, despite the delivery being quick and Theo being so helpful it just all in all wasn?t worth it for the money spent. In no way to be rude at all I would?ve maybe been better off spending my money at the local Tesco on a Victoria sponge, I feel on this occasion there was no reason for the cake to be dry and hard as a rock when made a day before being delivered, I can?t quite figure out why this was the case.If the flavour and quality was on par with presentation I would be giving a raving 5 star review.

It arrived as I requested and the packaging and decoration on the cake was beautiful.However I was quite disappointed with the quality and taste of the cake.The icing tasted just of sugar, the sponge was quite doughy and the only strawberries I got were a few dried slices on the top.For the price I paid I was expecting fresher ingredients and better dough than the supermarket ones.Unfortunately I will not order cakes from them again.

I have ordered a few times from cutter and squidgy as gifts and the recipients have always said their cakes are delicious. They are wonderful gifts.And I recently had to amend my order and Oana was extremely helpful in amending the delivery date for me.

I ordered a box of cakes for my mum on mother's day and she absolutely loved them! Unfortunately there was a delay with DPD which meant they arrived a day late but Oana in Customer Services quickly replied and sent me a credit voucher to apologise.
