Abbi, my optician today, was super smart and efficient. She understood exactly what was needed for my eyes, answered all my questions, she asked many back and suggested a few things I should watch out for. Really enjoyed it. Thank you!

Very difficult to cancel a contact lens subscription. Had to call 6-7 times. Phone was rarely anwered and when answered the issue was not resolved. They gave assurance that the issue was resolved, but it wasn't and I continue to be charged. Spoke with 3 different associates. Not sure if and when I will be able to cancel my recurring subscription.

Canary Wharf (Jubilee Place) London store - upon arrival, 1) all 5 staff, huddled together, laughing and did not stop until I interrupted asking for help.With eyetest completed, 2) I was shown glasses but not informed of the delay in lenses until after I paid. 3) With numerous emails to customer service since July, I was passed to the parent company customer service Essilor Luxottica. 4) I've been chasing them too for more than a 'sorry' email. 5) Five weeks and still waiting for a reply. And to top this off, my 6) lenses turned out to be incorrectly prescribed and taken back for new ones and 7) I'm waiting since end of August on news as to a collection date.I wish I had read first about the service levels. This is in my top 3 worst customer service levels of all time.

Great service from David Clulow Jubilee Place. Optometrist was experienced and considerate and the service from the sales person to buy the frames was also veery professional.

Terrible service. Trust the low ratings before going in, especially considering it is an expensive service with a certain amount of wait time.1. Before even starting with the story know one thing - overpriced.2. From interacting with the staff and speaking to them I am under the impression most of them work there part time and take no responsibility whatsoever for anything that goes wrong (and trust me, a lot goes wrong with them).3. I went there to change the lenses of my glasses to a lower/weaker prescription and they told me that it will take 14 days which is completely fine. The girl working there was seemingly only interested on "closing the deal" and offering me add ons for the glasses rather than anything regarding previous history/why I lowering the prescription/etc. On the 14th day EOD they messaged me that the glasses were ready and I went to pick them up the next day, however, they had a -3.5/-4 prescription on them (supposed to be 1.25/1).4. The guy there said sorry and that he will send them for a "quick change" rather than a regular one (the one that takes 14 days) and that the glasses will be ready latest in 4 days (which is a Saturday, they don't work on Sunday).5. "Surprisingly" I wasn't called/messaged on the 4th day by anyone to notify me that they will be delayed.6. On the 6th day I messaged them on email and they replied that the glasses "have been dispatched" but with no approximate date even after I asked about it.7. More than 30 days had passed since my initial visit there and there were still no glasses, and they were not replying on email to 5 of my messages (and their phone number for customer service didn't pick up 5 times in a row, in 3 different days)8. I finally got a hold of their support who told me again (exactly 7 days after their last email reply about the glasses being dispatched) that the glasses had just been dispatched and will be there potentially on Friday but he can't be sure.9. Finally, on Friday EOD I was messaged (no call/no apologies/no compensation), that after 32 days they were finally able to correctly change the 2 piece of glass for which I paid 280 GBP.10. I went there to pick them up, and the guy just handed them over, asked how they are this time (a different guy), and mentioned that he is sorry but he doesn't know anything about them because "he works there 2 times a week and doesn't really know anything about it".Terrible. From the customer experience with all employees to deadlines to communication, everything is bad. Trust the low average rating and don't go there.

Genuinely dangerous.I had my prescription done here earlier this year, they gave me a reading that my eyes had gotten worse and that I didn?t have a stigmatism (I always thought I did?) I trusted them but when I used the contact lenses they gave me, something didn?t feel right.I decided to go to another optician and they told me my eyes hadn?t gotten worse and that I did indeed have a stigmatism! The prescription they have given me is much better.Avoid this place.

Honest opinion - I found this place unprofessional from the minute I walked in and felt like I was left to my own devices after my eye test was done.The test itself was ok but service was a let down. The shop is just a frontage and they don?t seem to be following the hours stated on the David Clulow website..

Very welcoming and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Eye test was excellently performed and explained very well. I actually found the eye test very informative and rather relaxing!Over all the two pairs of glasses I chose which were from the Armani collection were the best for me and I am very satisfied with the experience.

Very dissapointing to have rushed there from work today only to be told 'Your appointment was cancelled this morning, we sent you an email'.This should have been communicated via a phone call first, and then an email if there's no answer. And ideally with 24 hours notice to prevent me adjusting my entire work day.My first and last time stepping foot in here.

The eye test was thorough and very well done. Not impressed with the after care service. Not much help in choosing my frames, kept waiting over a month for my glasses and there was no customer contact. Hard to get through on the phone and lucky if you do. No answerphone facility. When I went into the opticians after waiting for 4 weeks for my glasses they kept saying I had ordered two pairs and had already had one pair, but this was not the case. Told I would receive a phone call the following day with an update on my new glasses, but no one contacted me and went in again a couple of days later. Was told by the new assistant there that they were on their break and my glasses have been despatched. Disappointing service, although I have now received a text to say my glasses are now ready for collection so that's good. Fingers crossed they will be ok. Collected my glasses on Thursday 15th December and the new assistant was really friendly and helpful. My glasses are absolutely fine, but a shame I waited for such a long time. The other staff in the store weren't really friendly and a smile or apology for the length of time I had been waiting would have been appreciated.
