The person taking my order was friendly, but the takeout food I received was burnt, so I chewed it and it had a burnt and bitter taste. Not really...+ Now that I think about it again, they served me burnt food like this and on the outside they seemed kind to me, but when I think about the way they laughed and chatted among themselves behind the scenes, I think it was racism. (I?m Asian young girl.)

I like GBK, so when I go into a different one, it?s always on that basis ?Anyway, decided to try this one in the Brunswick, since I was staying nearby.The restaurant itself is down a side passage, towards the Waitrose end. Double fronted, but shallow. Towards the small end for a GBK.Seated straight away, not bad for a Saturday lunchtime. Really lovely burger, freshly cooked and juicy. Medium rare as ordered. Onion rings and chips to accompany.I still mourn the loss of the shoestring fries; they were unbelievably good. The current chips are ok, but they?re not special.My baconnaise came as ordered. A plus.The beer was San Miguel. As it was and as it should be.Service was speedy and efficient. Well done.The other customers seemed to all be people who?d never been out to eat before. Mystified by everything. Very strange.

So disappointed the restaurant looked great and had a decent atmosphere, however the food was mediocre. The chicken tenders were so tough we ended up leaving them as I thought my child would choke on them. The only decent thing was the milkshake, will not be returning.
