Very helpful cashiers. They always go out of their to help you. Very professional indeed.UPDATE: Visit here today, extremely unprofessional.I?m not sure if he is a supervisor but?tall white guy with glasses needs major customer service training.Also, where is the professionalism too, wearing trainers while he?s working.Dear Halifax, where do you get this people from, your local job centre?I also remember him from last year, I paid my bill in, he gave me my bill back and started to work on his computer while I?m still standing there. I?m looking at him thinking?is this guy serious? He then looks up at me and says?is there something else you?re waiting for? I told him, yes! My receipt. He then says something on the lines of oh you want a receipt?Isn?t it compulsory to give a receipt?I mean without a receipt, where is my proof that I?ve paid my bills/bill?Hopefully he?s reading this, I?m the guy who was waiting to be served while you and your colleague had your counters closed, I wanted to pay my bill with my credit card, you told me you can?t take the credit card but there is another way, which I didn?t understand, something about scanning my card, by the look on my face, I didn?t have a clue what you were on about and you knew that but stood their staring at me, you got great satisfaction with me looking lost.I replied back to you, what if I come back and pay cash instead? You told me that you can?t do for some reason, but I can pay with my debit card. I then told you that I don?t want too, as I want to keep the two accounts separated and you?re still staring at me.I then said,Could I pay at the post office? You said, I wouldn?t know as I don?t work at the post office, great customer service skills.I went to another branch, paid my bill with cash.

Very bad onboarding experience. Have opened a number of accounts recently and none of them request the level of personal information that Halifax request. Also insist on sending a confirmation by post which is completely unnecessary. Have decided to close the account before I've even started.Also just been notified they've done a hard search on my credit account, which hasn't happened with any of the other accounts I've opened.

DO NOT GO TO HALIFAX MOORGATE. If you have an appointment here- I recommend you do not come. Extremely unprofessional- I needed a particular service done and I came to the bank 3 times and each time something was wrong with the system or we were given the wrong person. A lot of miscommunication and a lot of wasted time off work. With little apologies- it cost money to travel as well. I was really sad with this service to be honest. Specifically, Carlo and Deniz were not the best!!!! 1/5 STARS.Wasting people's precious time and money in the midst of cost of living crisis.

Useless bank. Can't even help to sort out Google pay. They also sent me my pin after 1 month even when I received my card one month prior. Nobody has a clue what they are doing. I've had a mortgage with them for 10+ years and even trying to talk with someone from customer service is useless. Worst bank ever

After wasting hours and hours in the hackney branch where the staff and manager had no idea how to put cheques into accounts and wouldnt listen to me either I went to Moorgate branch where the lady did listen to me and did it in minutes. The staff also reset my internet account. I cant thank them enough. I and my wife have now had their halifax accounts for writing this post against hackney branch although I have been a customer for over 40 years.
