A wonderful restaurant, that I will go back to! Must must have the mushroom and foie gras side dish that is divine! It should be a main!

This restaurant is my favourite restaurant, consistently providing excellent food. The service is fantastic. Absolutely nothing to

L'Escargot is a legend among restaurants with a truly fascinating history. The Sunday lunch is just phenomenal, with three (huge) courses for £39. Value for money indeed. We had snails and prawn cocktail for starters, the beef (with the best roast potatoes ever) and the confit duck for main, and the cheese and the chocolate soufflé for dessert. Everything was utterly perfect, with wonderful service. Small well-behaved dogs are allowed, and the staff made a huge fuss of our 14yo Pug. Would I recommend the place? Hell, yeah! Cannot wait to return! A perfect 10/10 from us.

We had a private dinner, Mattia had been amazing in organising this for us! We chose the menu with lamb and everything was great, the atmosphere was magical! A big thanks also to Aurora and Ugo !Dietary restrictions: One of the guest was GF, she was very well looked after

Just a fabulous restaurant. We had the vegetarian options on the menu, but they were so creamy and delicious as anything else on the menu. We also had the "cocktail of the day" which was on point ?? Would highly recommend the Beetroot risotto.

First impression was solid, however despite the average food and rather inattentive staff one last mishap stood out especially unwell to us.We had booked a table over dinner and upon arriving we were told we had to wait as they weren?t ready yet.The nice lady at the entrance offered us a cremant due to the inconvenience and were told this was ?on the house? - however in the end they ended up charging it to our bill?.We only caught it a day later and even though it is only regarding a small amount, less than £20, we are very unhappy about them offering drinks on their account but eventually letting their customers pay?this is either a very untrue and rude customer service or a function of uninterested and not well trained staff?.I am hoping for some statement of the restaurant to at least understand how that happened on Wednesday?

Great restaurant with awsome staff.Tried snails for the first time too. The only thing that took away a star for me was the limited menu.

We arranged a private dinner for a birthday celebration in the Salon Bleu (Blue Room) at L'Escargot. Mattia was very helpful and responsive in making the arrangements. On the night, we were very well looked after by our waiter Hugo, the room was lovely and the food was delicious (everyone very much enjoyed their meals)! The creme brulee was perfect! I would definitely go back. They even had a live pianist in their bar area which was a lovely bonus after finishing our meal. Thank you L'Escargot!

Escargots were great. The sauce paired nicely with the bread. Soups were superb. The duck and the beef were alright.
