The service was extremely poor: wait times exceeded 60 minutes, the restroom was out of order, no coffee or water was provided, and staff suggested using an ATM across the street. This is the headquarters of Metro Bank.

Avoid this bank like the plague. They are so incompetent it's painful. My private information was leaked and as a result I was targeted by fraudsters. Money was taken out of my account and the fraud was reported immediately by me. Nevertheless they froze my account and despite 2 weeks since I went to the branch to reset my accounts I am still waiting for the block to be removed. I had to visit the branch again only to be told that the individual who reset my account made major errors which resulted in the whole process being done from the beginning. It took the fraudsters less time, effort and stress to access my funds! Since writing this review the problem has still not been resolved.

The staff here are very helpful, big thank you to a staff member named Anchra she explained and showed me how to use the change machines and also help me sort out my online banking issues, was very patient and understanding, big thank you to Luis as well! great staff, great bank,!

So this is my third attempt at opening an account with Metro Bank......It's now an hour after I arrived and, despite there being three members of staff available, I have been told that none have the skills to open an account! This follows two previous long visits to another branch to try to open this account...While I've been waiting, I've set up an account with another bank (in minutes!). So I wonder whether it is now a matter of *when* this bank will go bust rather than if?If you value your time, avoid Metro Bank!

Member of staff assigned to us, randomly went to chat to another staff. I tried explaining my sons sensory and understanding impairment on indefinite waiting to be seen and we were ignored. We waited 20 minutes before leaving.

This bank is great! My card was stolen and they returned all my money back to me without a hassle. They also have amazing operating hours and good customer support at their branches.10/10!

Pro - staff very apologetic and pleasant. But, you can only open an account in-branch, queued for 20-25 minutes to get to the counter, only to be told there was a further 1-2 hour wait to open an account. Decided to go to a different bank.

Always understaff! And the staff on duty have No sense of urgency. Be prepared to waste at least an hour of your time when you visit

With no customers in store, I can't think of any reason why I was left waiting over 30 minutes to be seen, had to leave as I was on limited time.
