Incredible charity shop with the upmost care for its items and for its cause. I especially loved the notes to place on the Christmas tree to loved ones not with us anymore such a lovely thing to do. Very caring and attentive staff and volunteers who are more than happy to help.

What?s ironic when reading these reviews is that although Mind is a mental health charity, the reviewers do not seem to be taking the mental health of the shop staff into account. Not all disabilities are visible after all and certain people can seem rude to the neuro-typical when they didn?t really mean to be. It?s always worth bearing in mind when you?re about to get up on your high horse.

The most exceptionally rude female staff member when not only enquiring; but also dropping off a considerable donation. Mind charity has had such poignancy in peoples lives and it?s such a shame their staff cannot exert the same compassion and kindness as the charity. Or at least muster a smile?

I've managed to pick up a couple of original artworks from this place for a few pounds. It's small but you can find something interesting sometimes amongst the bric-a-brac. Staff generally seem helpful and pleasant.

I called the number provided and after several attempts finally got through, I simply wanted to inquire about possibly volunteering in store. The lady I spoke to was incredibly cold and harsh with a very rude tone. I appreciate that she may be having a bad day or something but, there was no need for such attitude ! She did advise me to come into store which I unfortunately due to the way I have been spoken to and after reading other reviews will not be doing. I'm incredibly shocked and just wanted to provided people with a word of warning before contacting the store. Obviousbly I know this one lady isn't reflective of the entire charity or those who volunteer but simple telephone manners and courtesy goes a very long way !

RUDE and unkind staff. Witnessed a lady trying to bring in some goods to donate with her son, including a guitar. Staff member was incredibly rude and unhelpful, and just told them ?we only take clothes, please leave?. Will never support this charity shop - many other good ones around.

i dropped off a very large bag of almost new ladies clothing along with two other items, a man with several piercings was the only member of staff present, i am shocked at the lack of manners, no hello , thank you , just said leave it there.i normally donate to st christophers hospice up the road , what a difference with the staff.i thought i would donate to mind as i lost my daughter in law just a year ago , she took her own life after suffering mental health.i dont think i will donate to mind again, this has upset me , really felt like picking up my donation and walking out again.

Mind is by far the most convenient charity shop near Lordship lane to drop of donations if you are coming by car. You can usually find somewhere to stop on Tintagel Crescent very close to its front door for long enough to unload. The friendliness of the staff varies but the charity is a very good cause.

Been using this charity shop for years now and have also experienced that rude manager who is so miserable and so moody. He the one responsible for the overpriced items apparently because it Dulwich he feel people can afford their pricing !!! There?s an West Indian lady that extremely rude I think she maybe on community service. Recently spoken to the assistant manager Dave, who was extremely helpful and also aware of the overpriced items.
