A year ago I went to get information on bank accounts and the different products offered by this bank.On the other hand, I was advised by an excellent advisor who knew about it.Having an account with them I have never had any difficulties opening it and getting help.

Absolutely amazing team at this branch. I had a big problem that was actually all my fault and could have cost us our house purchase. I had called Nationwide and they wouldn't/couldn't help me over the phone.I went into the Aldgate branch and they were amazing. Very empathic to my situation and made a significant exception to help me out and save our house purchase.Obviously, I'm grateful because I got the help I needed but more importantly the way I was treated and served was above and beyond anything I expect from a bank.Would highly recommend Nationwide as a bank and this as a branch.

The staff went above and beyond to help me and my husband out. They treated us as individuals with our unique situation and because of them we were able to purchase our dream house.

Jess was the MVP of the day, incredibly friendly and down to earth, very patient and just super thorough with all the information and processes spoke through. Both my dad and I were really impressed with how bubbly and active she is with her clients :)

I had a great experience using the ATM at this location. The process of making both deposits and withdrawals was quick and seamless. Despite it being lunchtime, the ATM's large open areas meant there were minimal queues, and I appreciated the convenience. Overall, I have no complaints about my experience and would highly recommend this location for hassle-free banking.

Cash machine outside is always either out of order or has no envelopes for paying in. Might as well be closed for all the use it is.

Horrible, unprofessional, rude, unhelpful, aggressive, arrogant, mean - I am actually struggling to fully convey the impression left by one particular customer representative at this branch. It felt like we were talking to a gangsta and she was (not) doing us a favour, being impatient and unpleasant to the degree I actually thought she was someone capable of punching you if came across in a dark alley. Completely shocking. My son and myself were utterly incredulous as to how she could have been hired to do this job.

Very bad customer service! The people at the desk should be helpful and patient and they are not. They are rude and loud and they don't care about customers. UNBELIEVABLE !!! We were there on Wednesday the 4th of May 2022 between 2pm -2:30pm and the lady at the desk was so rude and loud and didn't want to help at all. When I told her why she is so loud and rude to my husband she replied this is how she speaks. She should be fired! This is not acceptable. I don't know her name as she didn't have a name tag. But this is not how we customers should be treated!

Brilliant experience today! I walked in wanting to open a savings account and the guy (I don't know his name otherwise I would have out it here) was amazing! He answered all my questions critically and explained to me in deep detail about all the savings accounts avaliable and was advising me which would be suitable for myself. The customer service is brilliant and I felt very welcome here! The branch was clean and smelt amazing! Very fresh and airy with a modern and futuristic atmosphere and design! All staff are wearing some form of PPE and social distancing measures are strictly in place. Honestly, the best Nationwide branch I've walked into! If anyone from the head office reads this please do not close down this branch! Since now banking has pretty much gone online, high street branches are closing down but please don't close this branch! My only advice would be to Nationwide as a whole is to try and give cards with all savings accounts as like many others I don't feel my money is secure without getting to physically see and feel it through a card. Please Nationwide introduce cards on as many savings account as possible because the only savings account you can get a card with is the Instant access saver issue 7. Overall, I strongly recommend this Natwest branch to you! It is also conveniently located between Aldgate Station and Fenchurch Street Station. Aldgate East Station isn't far away too!.
