Went in with low expectations after reading the reviews, but Samantha on the desk was wonderful, helpful and pleasant.Someone walked in a little distressed as their card had been stolen. Without hesitation she asked the other customers whether he could skip to the front of the queue - obviously no issue. She calmed the man and quickly cancelled his cards.

25 min wait in line to speak to a member of staff who promptly moved me to a seated area for another 10 minutes to wait for another member of staff...my request? Transfer some money from my account to a car dealer's account...hardly a difficult task, made more difficult by Natwest...

Natwest, the Strand, is managed and run by an incompetent team of bureaucrats whose last interest is proper customer service. Hardeep, the man in charge of opening accounts, sent me away on 3 separate occasions asking me to make small documentation changes even after he stated that he made all the necessary changes to the documentation. The branch manager then refused to see me despite repeated requests. Thanks for nothing Natwest

No queues if you choose your time carefully. Can pay in notes/cheques with the machine. Also has a coin machine, but you do have to queue to pay the total in once the machine has finished. Staff are very helpful.

I use NatWest branches to pay cash into my Starling Bank account; I've found everytime I do this I'm either asked an endless stream of questions or quizzed on why I'm paying in as a non NatWest account holder.
Not only did the branch know how to pay in straight away, I was treated in a friendly and polite way.

Natwest doesn't want to refund my direct debit. By law they have to. They just hold the money and just hang up over the phone. I'm at wedtfiel branch in shepherds bush and they can't help me. They are trying to get ride of me.

Using badly composed text message to contact customers from Fraud dept, blocking fund as if we are fraudsters! Does Visa Debit card though. I'm switching now!
