Gorgeous wine bar and restaurant. Frequent new chef residencies (always the best). Cozy warm space. The wine selection is amazing. And super friendly staff! Couldn?t ask for anything better. Great date spot ??

Unfortunately, we had a really disappointing experience there. £84 for 3 tiny mediocre dishes and 3 glasses of average wine (£12 for a small glass, is it a joke?) is a bit too much even for London. If you add to that a tiny cramped space where everybody bumps into you and hits your back, you?ll get a full picture

Seeing as my previous review of this place was deleted. Here it is again. If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely atrocious service. We were a party of three who had come for dinner. Had to wait 45 minutes just standing in the shop. Some space did free up on the main table but they were unable to seat us and suggested we wait for another area to free up which was easier for three. We waited for another 15 mins and then were "seated". We were only given two stools, no menu and our table wasn't wiped clean. We asked for an additional stool so we could all be seated to eat our dinner, which seemed to really confuse the waiter, he told us they didn't have any spare stools and we would have to wait to maybe see if another one freed up. We then did receive a stool, which was thrown down by the manager. He did this without even looking at us and walked away back to the cooking area. Standing there in shock of how rude this was I then had to go talk to him to explain we were leaving and how unbelievably rude they had been to us. He then finally came over to us and explained that it is just "the style" of the place and that most people wouldn't mind standing to have a "casual dinner". For me I feel that being able to sit and eat dinner is a base level for most people when they eat out, but hey, times must be changing. We had drank two glasses of wine total, which he charged us for. Generally when customers have been provided with terrible service it's polite for the establishment to not expect payment for drinks. These guys obviously aren't experienced in that way. So all in all this place was probably THE worst service I've ever experienced and is indicative of the areas new found trendyness. Good job we weren't reviewing for larger publications or critics. I'd recommend trepidation when eating here during busy times as the staff are obviously inexperienced in customer service and or communicating with diners. Felt like we were inconveniencing them, when we were paying (not cheap) prices. 0/10

Had heard good things so popped in for lunch. The guys were very friendly and nice. Food is exquisite. Ambience very nice to read too (Sunday afternoon). Will be back.

A delightful little gem I?m determined to come back to as soon as I can! The chefs change every few weeks, so I?d recommend following them and checking if the food is to your liking. The guest chef this time was Mitchell Damota and he worked absolute magic with an almost entirely vegetarian Italian menu - we started with bread topped with butter and anchovies and a purple artichoke and pear salad, both deceptively simple but carried a punch in term of flavor. We then had all three pastas - ricotta-stuffed balanzoni with butter and balsamic, chestnut trofie with marjoram, potatoes, and La Tur cheese, and homemade tagliatelle with a faultless cheese and truffle concoction. All were spectacular, but let?s say we finished that last dish in about 90 seconds. This was all topped off with whipped ricotta and sapa, or reduced grape sauce, that almost balsamic like.As expected, the wine selection was excellent and extensive. We went for a Portuguese orange wine with bright flavors that went really well with the food. The service was outstanding - so friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough!

Amazing wine bar collaborating with chefs occasionally. The staff is always there to give recommendations on wines. Either you want a rose/white/red wine and if you want a dry one, spicy one, etcThe food! The food is delicious here. We tried all of the three pastas : I highly recommend the ragu one.

I adore this place. Great vibe and decor. Staff are lovely. Amazing wine selection. I've had food from their current resident chef and it was all incredible.

Epic neighbourhood joint with a relaxed vibe and tasty vinos. My man delivered me two delicious drops off the back of my rookie brief and a quick tasting. An unpretentious environment with knowledgeable staff that makes for the perfect place to park up and broaden your natural wine horizons

Cosy wine bar with very few veggie options (mainly cheese) but perfect for a stopover on the way to diner.

I really loved the place and the vibe, and they do carry a good selection of wines however towards the end of the evening I was quite disappointed with the service. We had ordered food soon after being seated and after almost 2hrs we enquired about our order of the main dish only to be told that it "takes a while to get ready". I found that a bit hard to believe because I saw the same dish being given out to customers (who ordered after us, or actually didn't even order it) multiple times throughout our 2hr wait. In the end, I think they simply forgot about it and then when we reminded them quickly started getting it ready, at which point we cancelled our order and asked for the bill. My friends and I would have honestly preferred to be told that they forgot about it and that they apologise, and not get lied to. Other than that it was a nice night and experience but for us the cost vs. benefit ratio was a bit off xxx

We found the callous service from the blond Australian guy really off-putting.After saying we were not planning to eat, we were told the seating was only for people dining so we were directed to go and "perch" with our glasses standing against the wall of bottles of wine for sale.We were the only couple standing despite there being plenty of spaces available round the large central table. If you're calling yourself a restaurant, then I think that would be fair not to be able to accommodate drinkers, but P. Franco calls itself a bar.In this light, it felt like a two-tiered system of treating customers based on the projected spend: if you're only going to have a drink you are second rate and not worth the space at the table.I'll be interested to hear if things have changed but certainly won't be recommending.

I love this neighbourhood spot with its £8.50 wines by the glass, overwhelming wine options but aided by super friendly staff with on-point recommendations.I ordered the raw scallops with brioche, and chef Meedu Saad of Kiln Soho?s dishes are spot on and full of flavour! Excited to come back.

Do not eat here. It is very tasty but just really overpriced. We had the set menu for £45 which was 4 small courses. There were two of us and the ultimate stingy portion was the seabass which was one small fillet which we had to cut in half to share. It's a shame as all the food was nice just really overpriced compared to restaurants such as pidgin, cornerstone etc

We had the set menu, food was very small, we left hungry and simply not very good, desert especially imbalanced. In regards to the service, it feels like you?re in someone?s house and that you?re bothering?. The wine was good
