What can beat freshly made pasta? Nothing. We walked in and got seated at the counter next to the kitchen which was great. Love their pasta and sourdough bread.

Probably the best pasta I?ve had in London. Hand made pasta & combinations were so simple & so so good. Topped off with £2 negronis for every pasta we ordered. Service was great & food came out super fast without compromising any of the flavours. Will definitely be back!

The location has a good mix of indoor and outdoor dining. All tables were fully booked, but bar space was available for walk ins. The food and service was good and the atmosphere was very inviting.

Best meal we have had in London. We were on holiday in Italy earlier this year and this is the only pasta that tastes anything like authentic Italian food, absolutely delicious. We sat at the bar and had the bruschetta with tomato, copa Trentina, ravioli, fettuccine, 2 glasses of wine and shared the divine tiramisu, exactly how it should taste, like eating a cloud and finally affogato! What a bargain in London @ £70!! Wish we could eat here again! Divine and a great atmosphere.

Brilliant little spot for a pasta lover! Great pasta with inventive sauces and seasonal menu. Feels like it is becoming a little bit like vapianos with made to order sauces and lacking the freshness I recall from earlier visits. A real treat however with £2 negroni's between 5-6:30, it's hard to say no to some early din.Vegetarian options: Great and diverse

Went without a booking and got lucky with the outdoor seating. Great coppa, pappardelle with beef shin ragu, and tagliarini with dried chilli, garlic & pangrattato!

I came to Padella for lunch, having made a few trips for dinners in the past. As usual, the pasta was phenomenal - everything done just right, and a more generous portion than I remember too. Recommend the crab tagliarini, though you can't really go wrong with this menu.

Simple but delicious! We had the Cacio e Pepe and the pesto fettuccine. Both were fresh and perfectly cooked. The arugula salad was also a surprising hit.

Have heard a lot about Padella, so we all had high hopes. Sourdough and Buratta were good bit the pastas weren?t tasty! There were 6 of us, and we tried different pastas. Pici Cacio e Pepe was the worst and with the least quantity! I?ve had better pastas! Tiramisu was good.

Loved Padella! This restaurant, in Shoreditch offers fresh Italian pastas in a small intimate casual setting with kitchen, outdoor and seating. We did not make a reservation but were able to get a table fast. The staff was kind and helpful at guiding us through the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasted very fresh. The pasta are homemade and flavorful. We went with the pappardelle with shin beef ragu and the pici caccio de Pepe. The portions are big enough to will leave you full but put you in a carb coma! We started with a green salad and the burrata. You will need to order bread for your burrata. The tiramisu is a must try as well. Our meal was super affordable given the freshness and care that went into crafting the dishes. If you are craving pasta, this is a must try!!

What a disappointing diner. Overhyped. We were very excited to have diner at Padella, lots of great reviews, a restaurant well-known for their pasta dishes. We picked the beef shin ragu and the pici cacio e pepe. The dishes were just very average. The pasta itself was fresh and had a nice bite, but the sauce were too diluted and really lacked any distinct flavor. NFor the price (15£ a relatively small plate of pasta}, there was such a little amount of meat and the sauce had clearly too much added water, not thick enough. Normally a ragu is flavorful and thick and sticks onto the pasta. This was not the case.Same story on the cacio e pepe, better but still not the standard we were expected.Wanted to try the tiramisu but we did not ordered as we were so disappointed by our diner. Not worth going.

Saw that Padella was a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant with housemade pasta and definitely wanted to try it. Luckily we were staying in Shoreditch, so we were able to make advanced reservations online. During the week, those without reservations were looking at an hour wait. I was stunned to see that their martinis were only £8, but they were really tiny, though they still did the trick. Loved the thick noodles in the pappardelle with beef ragu (£15). There's not that much beef, as the star is really the pasta. Also had the tagliarini with Dorset crab, chili & lemon (£16.50), which light on crab and a definite lemon accent. Portion sizes seemed decent, though we still had room for dessert. tried their tiramisu (£7), more mascarpone cream than anything else, with just a bit of espresso-soaked ladyfingers. They have £2 Negronis from Mon-Fri 5pm-6:30pm, which we were not in time to take advantage of. The Padella Shoreditch location has better advantages than their original Borough Market spot. They take advance reservations (vs. Borough Market's daily reservations opening at 11am and requiring you to scan their QR code on site or download their app). The Shoreditch restaurant is larger, so you won't be cramped next to another table. Oh, and that Negroni special is only at Shoreditch too!

Great pasta, really great, while the appetizers were okay. We skipped desserts. Wine on tap seems to be a gimmick, to be avoided?and they obliged us by serving it after the appetizers with a faint apology. The service was very minimalist, selective, sharp, perhaps in line with the hour and twenty minutes our table was assigned. My next visit could be if I am in Shoreditch at lunch time by myself and craving tasty freshly made pasta.
