You want a casual cafe to hangout with best friends. This is the place. I just love the superb environment besides the small lake. It is just casual and not fancy. Humble and easy friendly. Foods and Coffees are surprisingly good. Highly recommended.

This place was designed for ‘the perfect sunday’. After a lovely walk around the park, a thick focaccia sandwich with a coffee sat in the sun was exactly what I needed. Nice park grub beautifully located, overseeing the lake. Their food is pretty good quality and overall interesting, I find it reasonably priced too. The only disadvantage is that the place gets crowded on weekends or when hot so the atmosphere gets spoiled by people competing to find a spare chair.

The Pavilion cafe in Victoria Park is where we started, and where all roads lead back to. It encapsulates what the Pavilion believes in - a cup of tea that costs a quid, excellent seasonal British cooking like your mum used to make, plenty of seats and roaring log fire.
The flagship cafe opened back in 2004 and has since become our most iconic locations, nestled on the boating lake in East London, where you can a hearty Sri Lankan curry on our covered pier.
