Severely overpriced and underwhelming. Waitress said hello and brought water, didn?t see her again for the rest of the night.

My first visit to the Wolseley, went with my grandson & my cousins. They were very accommodating as we were only going for drinks & short of time. We were seated almost immediately, which was great. We had a selection of ice teas, herbal teas, afternoon tea, hot chocolate & a milkshake. Also a few snacks & nibbles. All presented beautifully & tasted even better.I will definitely be going back!Kid-friendliness: I had taken my Grandson who is 11, the waitress was very attentive & made him feel quite special

The best restaurant experience I've ever had was at The Wolseley. The service, food and restaurant are the best of the best.

A VERY DEPRESSING DINNER !!I haven't been to London for over 3 years now and the Wolseley used to be a great place to dine at that I always wanted to visit when in London. So I decided to do so this time although I did not have a reservation. I walked in 6pm, asked for a table for 1 for dinner, it all started with a cold reception, no smile, no welcome to the Wolseley, etc and then I was seated in the small dinning area to the left of the entrance (even though the restaurant was fairly empty) which is usually used for those having afternoon tea or just patisserie. After being seated for more than 10 minutes unattended, I had to wave to the waiter to be given a menu. The waiter looked depressed, very unhappy and didn?t smile at all. By this time, the table next to me occupied by a couple who had the ?afternoon tea? set was vacated, it took the waiter more than 50 minutes to clear/clean that table. I ordered the chicken soup followed by the calves liver with a side of mash potatoes as well as carrots & parsnips, and also a glass of Rioja. The atmosphere was starting to weigh in me, no attention at all, sad & depressed staff arguing with each other ? I was served my soup, plate was cleared by a sad robotic waiter who did not communicate at all not did he ask me ?how was your soup?.Another 10 minutes went by and by this time, the whole experience was getting on to me. I was then served the main course by another unhappy and non smiling waiter, the main course was warmish rather than hot obviously from sitting for a while in the kitchen. I started eating but by this time I had lost my appetite by this entire experience and depressing atmosphere. Less than half way through the main course, I decide to leave. I paid the bill of £94.15 using the scanner on the table and then left. The staff saw me that I was leaving, saw that I hadn?t finished my dinner, and yet I walked as if I had never been there. This is by far one of the most unpleasant restaurant experiences I have ever had.

I visited after making a reservation, but I was kept waiting even after my reservation time. I was asked to wait at the bar next door, but unfortunately the bar was full of people and there was no space to wait.I guess it can't be helped since it's a popular restaurant, but the tables were close together and it was noisy, so it didn't feel like you could have a relaxing meal.It was a shame because the scones were so delicious, but I was soothed by the hospitality of the staff.

We came for lunch at The Woseley on a Tuesday afternoon. Was Busy, recommend to book in advance. Open table doesn?t allow to book the same day so we called. The interiors are beautiful, big chandeliers with great gatsby vibes. I had the chopped chicken Salad, beef tartar and veal schnitzel. Amazing Negroni. Good portions, food came out very quickly. Our server was in a rush, didn?t introduce him self or say hello, he just came and gave us the menu. Then came to take order for food but no for drinks. The staff in general is friendly and polite.

We had a reservation for a Saturday at 4pm. No waiting. The scoon and black forest were so yummy! but other things included in the afternoon tea were just okay nothing special.

We went for breakfast and ordered an omelet, a crossiant, and a cáñele. The omelet was really plain and hard, which is very underwhelming for such a nice place. The crossiant was bit soft felt like it?s been sitting there for a long time, but the cáñele is really crispy on the outside I love it. paid £30 for 3 simple things, don?t really think it?s worth it.

Probably the worst afternoon tea that I've had in years. The service was also awful and I would rather they didn't add a 15% service charge automatically.

Our waiter Antonio was most hospitable, detecting our Irish accents and conversing about common interests. His recommended breakfast dishes were spot-on. Delightful classic ambience.

It was a great experience having breakfast here, the pancakes were great and you could feel the luxury of the Wolseley. They did take some time to give us the bill.It is possible to pay with cash and we didn't make a reservation, but we were there early.
