Rude people working there

It's had a massive face lift. Still with the community vibe, but with an upgrade of new and improved products.Your day today, groceries can be acquired, but as an added bonus, you can purchase freshly squized orange juice, milk shakes, and hot dogs.Their alcoholic beverages are stored in the Vault, a room that is kept chilled by a dedicated cold unit, which means anything purchased. In that area, it is chilled.A post office resides inside, which is an added bonus

What a place. Staff always so friendly. Very grateful to have this on the doorstep - we've had very specific Irish chocolates ordered in after we asked and we can see from the selection of food that there's something there for everyone. Such a good beer selection. A true community convenience store and great to see them all helping out and providing a great service. Torridon Road Convenience Store we salute you

The refurbishment and extension have improved the store. Great to have a Post Office counter nearby. The new chilled beer and wine annex is great. Fabulous collection of beers in can and bottle.

Beautiful store, great people, honest and hardworking. Never have I been disappointed, they always go out of their way to help out. The service, hygiene and standards are top notch, and their recent reopening only improved what was already an amazing store. They deserve all the customers and praise. Wish them many years or good business and prosperity.

Brilliant reopening today - lots of support and the interior and stock have been transformed. You have to see the new layout for yourselves. Good luck to the family it must have been expensive.

Everything you need in a local convenience store. Groceries, small selection of fresh fruit & veg, milk, eggs, frozen foods, ready meals, meat, confectionery, wine and beer, magazines, cards... the list goes on!! And a post office to boot!!

Opening thought: This is by far the best shop in area. If this shop continues to improve it's selection and service in the way it has been over the last two years it will soon rival the legendary Jay's Budgens of Brockley. The younger of the four or five gentlemen who frequent the checkouts in this generally proportioned convenience shop and post office appears to be at the helm. This is a lucky thing as this chap, exclusively, seems interested in refining his produce in areas as disparate as craft beer, Japanese whisky, small batch cheeses and North American sweet-snacks.As a result this shop has a beer fridge better stocked than anywhere I've seen in this part of Lewisham. The alcohol corner of this shop would not be uncommon in hackney or Islington, but down here this is a rare treat for us.The post office is excellently run, theybdont seem fussy about card spending, and they always ask how you are.Two brief anecdotes to further illustrate the excellency of the staff here-1) the gentleman I mentioned earlier has, in the last, ordered very hard to find beer in for me specially.2) I once went in to the post office with a couple of hundred quids worth of mail to be sent, immediately before they closed. We got most of them processed before they closed but not the ones going to the states. The guy told me to leave them, he would get them in the post for me in the morning and I could come back and pay. I ended up forgetting for a couple of weeks and when I went back in and asked to pay the guy said that all of colleagues had called him a fool for posting my mail for me, and that I was probably never coming back, and they made him pay the 55 quid to cover the postage sent! He told me he always knew I was coming back.Great shop, great stock, great staff. A very rare 5 stars from me

The short older guy who often runs the post office counter is extremely rude to customers. Even just asking a question about the cost of something is enough for him to spout something rude. Wont ever go here again.
