Hotel is clean, and works for a quick work trip, but would not do a long stay for holiday or family travel. The breakfast boxes were a disappointment, they were not chilled, so lukewarm juice and milk. The entrance is not very welcoming, as it's in an alley that is next to two restaurants, who leave their bins and shipping containers outside. The bed was very hard and gave me back problems.

Great welcome by the manager Telma, and Gabriella the receptionist. Super clean room, Not a speck of dust in the room. Breakfast convenient. I paid £5.50 for a breakfast box which came with everything you need for a breakfast. I?ve stayed in much more expensive hotels before but have never had the amazing service like I have had at Travelodge Central Bank. I will definitely be coming back again.

Great location - easy access to city by train to from London Bridge St & Bank Station, A very straight forward walk to hotel. My hotel room is spacious, well equipped, crisp linens, spotless modern bathroom, and amazingly helpful staff! The only downfall was it being a small hotel, They didn't have a breakfast bar or drinks bar. But... With many amenities surrounding the area, it wasn't a big deal at all. I am extremely happy with my stay.

I stayed for 2 nights and I enjoyed staying there. The location of the hotel is very convenient, as it is close to London Brige Station. And the area is safe with a lot of business travellers and family travelling there. My room I was given was spotless. Would highly recommend it to people who are looking to stay in a few nights in London.

I've stayed here twice in 2023 and booked again for early 2024. Basic but clean and tidy facilities, great staff and just about the best location of anywhere I've ever stayed in London. 4 tube stations within a few minutes walk, and the river only a minute further. I fly to either Heathrow or Gatwick and it's a breeze to get here from either of them. What's not to love? For a weekend in London I'd much rather spend the difference between Travelodge and a full service hotel on being out and about enjoying myself.

I stayed as a long-term guest at the Hotel. The staff are exceptional. The rooms are spacious, and the location (between Cannon St and Bank) cannot be beaten. Cecilia, in charge of housekeeping, made sure it was spotless. Cleanliness is a priority at this hotel. The Manager is Telma, and she couldn?t have been more helpful. From sending up a second fan when the weather got hot to explaining which rooms on which floors suited my stay best. There?s a stocked vending machine in reception with drinks and fresh meals. The hotel is itself tucked in a courtyard. Out the front is a very good restaurant and across from it a wine bar. I do highly recommend it, for any length of stay.

There is not one bad thing I can say about this hotel. I have to praise the amazing staff who are kind and very welcoming. You will not see a hotel with cleaner rooms than this one, absolutely spotless and comfortable. To top it off the hotel is located in the heart of the city and two train stations are only 2 mins away. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Great hotel, very cleaned, rooms amazing and smelt good. You know when you can smell fresh laundry? That's the smell in the rooms. Apart from the noise which has nothing to do with the hotel. The team is excellent. Thank you Gabriela for the lovely service and the friendly smile.

The young lady on reception had a complete can't be bothered attitude. When we arrived she was dealing with another guest and it was clear that she wasn't worried about reception filling up with people to check in. She just kept telling the guest that his email had not been received and not trying to help him at all. When it was our turn to check in she told me that we were in room 203 and then disappeared out the back, i assumed she was getting our key. After 5 minutes she came back out to reception to answer the phone but didn't acknowledge that we were still waiting. She then disappeared back out the back. After another 5 minutes she came back out, didn't look at us or say anything. I therefore asked of there was a problem to which she answered the computer's frozen. She then went out the back again. After another few more minutes she came out with a key and said you're in room 204. I questioned this as she had previously said room 203. She then said oh yes room 203. The card had 203 written on it also. When we got to room 203 the key didn't work so we went to room 204 and the key opened the door. I waited in room 204 while my husband went back to reception to check which room we were in. After a few minutes the door opened and the couple who were behind us in the queue in reception came in. As they were in a hurry as they had a wedding to attend and were running late due to the delay at reception, I left the room. When my husband came back he said that we were in room 203 and he had the key. Again this key didn't open the door. Again my husband went back to reception got another key and came back. Again this key didn't open the door. This time I went back to reception and said that this key did not open the door. The young lady on the reception looked at me as if I was an idiot and asked me what colour the light on the lock was. I replied red. She then took the key off me and gave me another key. No apology at all and just treated as if you're an inconvenience. This time the key did work. The room was really hot due to the weather. In the room was a desk fan which was so covered in dust it did not work at all. We asked at reception if they had another fan which was not covered in dust and were told that they did not have any spare. Therefore we had a terrible night's sleep due to the temperature in the room.

Hotel clean and convenient for the centre of the City. Reception a bit slow. Room on 4th floor was hot although there was a desk fan running when I arrived. Window blind was jammed in the closed position - find it hard to comprehend how anyone could have imagined that particular model of blind was suitable for a hotel room where guests aren't always going to be careful with fixtures & fittings.

It's run down. Was put in a disabled room for my one night stay which was a fair size but it was boiling hot. The desk fan they'd supplied didn't work despite trying in different plug sockets. No double glazing which meant you heard literally everything including the external bins being emptied at 5am. The bathroom / wet room needs TLC. The pull down seat in the shower had black mould behind it, the shower head surround was cracked and the soap dispenser by the tiny sink was empty. When you consider this room cost well over £100. I know we're in the City, but even so.

A very well maintained property and clean rooms. Just one word of caution - there is no air-con and little ability to ventilate the room and therefore can be very hot and uncomfortable - not sure if this applies to all rooms.
