The staff, location and general running of this hotel is 10/10. The value is very good (though of course it is expensive to stay in London), I didn't feel ripped off. The staff are lovely, so helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The room itself was really nice, spacious, clean and modern and lots of nice little extras like a coffee machine and kit kats. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place, the location is fantastic as well.

The staff in the hotel are super friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Location is very good. 5 min walk from Liverpool Street Station. Rooms were spotless. Food in the bar was reasonably priced and tasty after a long day.Walkability: 5 mins walk from Liverpool Street train station

Good location, convenient connections to all the tourists' sights. Great value for money. Breakfast was again value for money and albeit a limited menu, it was a very good quality spread. Service could be better, especially the evening bar and kitchen staff, I found a couple of members to be rude when I asked for empty plates and cutlery to eat my take away in my room after a long day of sight seeing but apart from that, a good weekend stay option.

Location was convenient for me and service was really good. Employee who did my check in was extremely helpful. My room was facing the main street so there quite a lot of noise (bring ear plugs). Room could have been cleaner, found nail clippings on the carpet and hair on the bathroom tiles.

Stayed two nights and was really pleased with this hotel. Immaculately clean room, with great amenities. Very quiet. Great reasonably priced restaurant. Location excellent. Bus stop just outside front door to West end. Lots of local shops and delis nearby. The most outstanding feature of this hotel is the professionalism of the staff.Reception, room, bar and restaurant staff were exceptional.A special thanks to Joanne in the restaurant and Darron in the bar who both made us feel so welcome. Could nit have done more. Thank you. Will definitely return.Rooms: Very cleanSafety: Very good standardWalkability: Short walk to shops barsrestaurants.

Excellent location. It was a particularly warm weekend and air conditioning would have been welcome. A fan was provided but didn?t cope with the , admittedly, extraordinarily warm weather.Good value though and very efficient staff . Bar prices were very good value in relation to the other bars in the area.

Great location for this hotel. Close underground connections make travel to top destinations easy. The unlimited breakfast at the hotel meant that we could get out early to explore without worrying about food or coffee.

Fabulous and convenient, room was very clean and was absolutely fine for our one night stay, we couldn?t have chosen better. Breakfast was really good and a huge well done to Jeremy who was clearing away at the tables what a gent, he went out of his way and got my friend a peppermint tea to help when he noticed her voice was a little croaky. Jeremy your a star and a credit to the Travelodge well done ? I couldn?t fault the hotel or staff whatsoever thank you ?

Not impressed really. Communal areas a bit grubby. Roomed not cleaned during 3 night stay - only towels changed. Very expensive. Door to lifts was always open so felt quite vulnerable. An altercation over booking in the lobby one night as I came home. Front desk team helpful enough. My key needed to be recoded every time I came back to the room. Very expensive for my stay. Best I can say was that it was close to where I needed to be.Noteworthy details: No aircon - but windows open and fan provided.

Booked the room a week in advance. Arrived after a long day at work for them to say there was no room available. Reception team were helpful but when you book a bed, you expect a bed. Cue them trying to sort taxis to another hotel, and then eventually after an hours wait they found a room for me. Would never stay again.

I picked this hotel because it wasn't as expensive as others in the area and Shoreditch isn't as expensive as other parts of London. It was easy and quick to check in and out and it was close to old street tube and had a bus stop outside. There is also a Tesco express just a few doors down. The room was clean. The staff are friendly, the rooms are big. Downsides are that it is really hot in the rooms and the lifts. I can imagine the heat is worse in warmer parts of summer. There is no Aircon or fridge in the room and the shower would leak onto the bathroom floor even at low pressure.

Superior room was so small and noisy with virtually no natural light due to size of window. Room humid and hot made it impossible to sleep on our 2 nights stay. Outside room of the building was a motor running most of the time! Found body hairs on the bedding.

Wasn?t a good stay as we use a lot of Travel Lodge Previously. And this one wasn?t the best. Very unhappy with the night worker not bringing the cot or pillow excuse etc. no pillows @ all in the big building. We didn?t argue with it. Was waiting for a How We Done Email.

Visited the hotel because we were attending a concert at the Barbican. The hotel was very convenient for Barbican as it was a short 5-10 minute walk and very easy to find. Transport links are very good as there are several tube stations nearby and also a bus stop directly outside with regular buses. The shopping area of shoreditch is also a short walk away. There?s also a tesco 2 doors away that is very handy and lots of places to eat nearby. The welcome was fantastic, really friendly bubbly staff who were very enthusiastic and helpful. All of the staff we met were really friendly and good at their jobs. Room itself was nothing special but had everything we needed, a desk, area to hang clothes, tv etc. Decor in room was dark. Towels were lovely and fluffy and the bathroom small but clean with shower wash and soap provided. I was disappointed with the state of the carpet which had lots of bits of debris on it and looked like it hadn?t been hoovered. A very small amount of this debris had transferred to the sheets and I had to flick it off the bed. Shower was great. A big problem I had with the hotel was there was no signage to the stairs which could be lethal if there was a fire. All the corridors led to a central elevator area but we were only on first floor but couldn?t locate the staircase as there was no signage. Very dangerous! Several other guests commented the same thing. We searched for the stairs but never found them. Restaurant was very clean and food was hot and fresh. Breakfast was one of the best I?ve ever seen in this type of Hotel with plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. Brilliant selection and very tasty. Restaurant was never crowded and there was always enough food. Corridors in hotel can be noisy despite signage telling people to keep quiet. Noise carries. I could hear every word of a phone conversation someone was having outside my room. Likewise noise from outside is also very loud as the hotel is in a busy street with bars. Room does not have a/c so you have to choose between being too hot or being disturbed by the noise. The staff and restaurant are the highlight of this hotel.

Hotel was clean and fitted into a compact location so triangular in layout, outside noise was an issue on during the week less at weekends , breakfast was better earlier and a bit limited at 10:30 on Saturday
