Basically this store has a really good selection, the prices are not exactly the cheapest for those on a budget. More for the 'good earners' than the average joe blogs on a zero hours contract or the single mum on benefits. Yes you can catch some deals, but still not enough. Think you should do a range which meets your principles but makes it affordable for all. Inclusivity and not exclusivity should apply as people are really struggling at the moment. 'Could do better' would be on the school report on this one to match your 'wholesome' image. Although you are a rampant US capitalistic company so don't know if you would take these reviews into any consideration. Also your coffee bar is nearly always closed early (even though its advertised open) and the staff always blame it on 'staff shortages'. On the plus points your staff are great for sure and always helpful! Just my 2 pence worth ramblings as a customer...

I recently visited the Whole Food Market in Stock Newington and was impressed by the wide variety and excellent selection of foods available. The store boasts a diverse range of organic, and health-conscious products that cater to a variety of dietary preferences. However, I must admit that the prices at Whole Food Market are considerably higher than average. In fact, some items are priced at two or even three times what you might find at conventional grocery stores. This significant price difference can be quite a shock for budget-conscious shoppers, raising the question of why the prices are so steep. So, it's essential to be prepared for the higher price tag.

This store is unfortunately an example of the inequalities around London. Largely serving the gentrified population, black and working class customers are either followed by security or white middle-class staff. My son, who is 9, and myself were followed around this store as if we were prospective criminals. I have since decided to source my organic produce directly from the sellers and not from this store despite me residing relatively nearby.

Nice little food shop, expensive but organic and good quality.Slices of cakes for 4£ very delicious

Good for specialist foods that you can?t find elsewhere on the high street. But I have issues - it?s not dog friendly, why? All the other independent food retailers are. Also their security is crazy, following you around the shop like you?re a criminal.

Great bespoke selection and take away. Very small compared to its American equivalents.

I'm impressed with the customer support at this grocery store. They always go above and beyond to address any concerns or issues.

Just been into your Stoke Newington shop & had to give you a shout out for the excellent service we received. The guy who makes food in house was so helpful and we chose the blueberry streusel the girl & guy on the tills were also lovely.Just got home with a cup of coffee & had a piece of the cake, it?s amazing ?

Fruit and veg is offensively overpriced, but they do have great store cupboard ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere. Staff great too.Seriously though they wanted almost 5 quid for 2 red Peppers and some onions

April 2023 I walked in and all the staff and the Asian security was miserable and looked angry. It made me uncomfortable I won't be coming to this shop again

Despite me living locally and attending this store countless times , the staff actively encourage the security guards to racially profile me - every time I come into the store a bell rings and the security guard who was previously stationed by the entrance not following any of the white customers, immediately leaves his position and next thing I have an extra shadow and personal guard I never asked for following me around. Staff have also done this and I did openly complain but apparently it?s still an issue. This is a brand located in a diverse area of London (albeit gentrified)that seeks to promote wholesomeness and wellbeing yet it is staffed by people with impoverished minds. In this economy and even notwithstanding it, nobody should be making people feel like they are out of place spending their money as long that customer is paying to help keep that store open and those employees working. Fortunately I am not so insecure that I would stop going to that store but that doesn?t preclude me from calling this out nor seeking alternative shops of which there are plenty in the surrounding area with more products at competitive prices.

Very expensive, complete with 'beggars' outside who get £10 and £20 notes from some of the patrons. Produce is good, but oh so dear.

A local favourite, the place has excellent organic as well as responsibly sourced produce. A must visit.

I visit quite often. Good products but very expensive. Could give it four stars if found better staff, they are not approachable and helpful enough. Company needs to improve customer services
