I do do not usually write review but what started as a poor experience turned out to be a great one.I entered the branch and there was looooong queue with only 2 staff on counter. (Just reminding the nearby branches have closed and this one has got really busy). Anyways, when I was finally approached in queue (again, can't blame staff as they were helping other), I was told that I need to go upstairs.I went up, had to wait for around 25 mins and was met with Naman - I believe the branch manager; poor chap, I felt sorry for him that he was serving and in between excused to assist other staff.Overall, I was actually very impressed with gentleman's professionalism and how he dealt with the query after being passed from pillar to post on the phone and your poor chat service on app.Like someone else said in the review, service in this branch is Definitely much better than previous years but I do feel that Barclays will burn their staff if do not provide more resources with branches closing nearby. FYI; cash is on the up and with cost of living we need the bank support face to face. Don't force customer to use digital options; If I wanted digital only, I would open an account with digital bank.Well Done again to Namen

Didn?t have a good impression of the staffs in the bank last year, they weren?t very helpful and slow. then this year met Dorian and he?s super helpful and friendly. Remember to promote him this year else is your bank?s loss.

I booked an appointment to help open a current account at 9am. This is when the bank opened so I made sure to arrive on time as I had work that day. I was told to wait in the waiting area and 20 minutes go by and no one comes to see me - there is one other customer so it's not like there were loads of people. I ended up going to the front desk to ask what happened - turns out they didn't tell anyone I had arrived... When I was met by someone, I was in the bank of an hour and a half to try and open a current account (not sure why it took this long) but it ended with that I got denied. They did not give me any reasons why and I found this astounding considering I had a credit card with Barclays, but couldn't open a current account? I asked several times for reasons why this had happened but they just said they didn't know. I ended up going to HSBC to open an account which took 5 minutes online.

We have arrived at the bank distressed and was met by Dorian. The nicest person I have ever come across when using banks. He come over few times to check if we were ok while dealing with the issues. His empathy and case shown made it so much better. U are lucky to have him!!!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience today with Jasmine, who was not only super helpful but also very kind. Left the branch with a genuine smile on my face. I wish every trip to the bank was as efficient and pleasant as this one.

Worst bank and branch every when you come to serious problems, they can just freeze your accounts for protection and I arrived to branch within working hours to prove my id and they say they can not help me!! I am left with frozen cards, who cares right? ?sorry we can?t help!? So who can?!! Worst honesty!

I was heartbroken to find out that Barclays is the worst culprit in funding the fossil fuel industry in the whole of Europe!! The planet is teetering on the edge of climate catastrophe and Barclays seems to be doing all it can to drive this! Ive switched my account, it was actually really easy. There are many ethical banks out there!

Wooow. These people here are really slow. I was n the branch for about 1 hour waiting and they take an average of 25 mins per person for things such as: kyc, helping someone to do a transaction, provide you with some documents... incredible
