i sort of dislike the customer staff personnel greeting you at the door and wanting to know what you are there for only to be asked the same question by the counter also. i would rather you were allowed to go the ATMs or the counter or to seek help if you needed it rather than being pestered. i dislike this new style of bank branch "customer service".

Very bad experience with the first bank account appointment, was told after a extra long process, that you have to come again to sign when we tell you so, because the application is being reviewed; Been waiting for about 2 weeks now, also very rude when I was trying to call the branch to find out whats going on. (Still waiting) Had a really good impression with Barclays, but not sure if it's this particular branch. Hope this helps.

I have never in my life experienced such a rude, sarcastic and patronising individual than the 'Manager' at this Barclays Branch. The general team are great and very competent in Customer service however the lady that goes by the name 'Medina' is, I'm afraid, downright rude and obviously considers herself utterly superior. We have a business account with this particular Mayfair Branch however will most likely either be changing banks or leaving Barclays altogether due to the constant unwilling attitude of this woman. Beware.
