The food was truly delicious. The wines were well paired and explained with wonderful enthusiasm and genuine knowledge of the wines. All staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Accessed via a discreet doorway on Rupert Court, Evelyn’s Table at The Blue Posts is an intimate kitchen bar in the former beer cellar of the pub, serving British ingredients utilising, Scandinavian and Japanese techniques all underpinned by classic French training.
The space is warm and informal, with plates being passed straight from the range to the guest across the marble counter which seats just twelve.
