Wait for counter service can often be between 30 minutes to an hour. Automated pay in here lost my money not once but twice. It?s embarrassing that an international bank has such poor facilities.

I had an excellent experience with Ana and HSBC. I'm a surgeon from abroad who will be working soon at UCLH, and I never imagined that opening a bank account would be so challenging. Thankfully, Ana made it work and created my account in just one day. I highly recommend HSBC to anyone new coming to London. Thank you again for your assistance Ana!

If I could give negative stars, I would in a heartbeat!I am a Premier HSBC account holder and wanted to perform a simple admin task with my account that could not be done online. So I had to travel 45 minutes by underground to a "full service branch" to be told that I needed to have an appointment beforehand. Fine, how was I supposed to know about that when there was no information on HSBC's website regarding appointments? I was told I had to visit the branch to make the appointment!! So that's two trips to a useless branch for a simple task that I had done at HSBC Covent Garden (super friendly) in minutes.I even requested to speak to a manager at the Oxford St. branch and was told that he's been in meetings all day and unavailable! What a way to put customers' interests first. I'll be escalating this within HSBC and hope they shut this useless branch down.

One of the worst branches in London I believe, customer service aren't knowledgeable about their work not kind enough to help nor to give a solution, instead a young unprofessional SUPERVISOR send you off with everything you request like his job is to make the service you need is difficult & impossible.So, if you respect yourself simply don't go unless you like to see & report the attitude as I didn't have time to find his manager.

Brilliant experience with Julian (in June 2023) who was helpful and patient in addressing my requests. What struck me even more - when other customers approached him while he was still attending to me, he was polite in seeking their understanding to wait and was genuine in wanting to assist once he was finished with his task at hand.

Tari helped me with fixed rate savings, a problem with my debit card, as well as patiently answering all my questions about my mortgage. It was a great service, and I enjoyed being there. Furthermore, they were playing 'You belong with me' by Taylor Swift there, and it is one of my favourite songs.

I am a regular of this branch, as well as a long standing HSBC client. Their ATM's have somehow not dispensed withdrawals on two occasions. First time staff were helpful and simply gave me the money that I was not given, whilst today they were unwilling to help me nor hear me out - simply dismissed and told to call the customer helpline. Now I am short of £200 that is floating in ATM ether.

Rubbish bank. Teller told that I can't deposit money given for my one year old daughter's JISA by her grandmother, because "it's not my money, it's my daughter's money" (what?). The most ridiculous thing I've heard from bank employee.
