I must have to say I always avoid to pop in metro Wimbledon as staff is extremely unfriendly they put you on wait for so long without any given waiting time. Overall bad experience. Terrible customers service

Very slow, very poor service, I didn?t get the quality service what I pay for the service charges each and every month.Very long queue, the staffs don?t care about their customers.This is the Metro Bank Wimbledon branch.

The bank this size is wasted here. No customers service, no one greets you when you walk in unlike the other stores where they ask you what you?re here for and directs you to the relevant person/help. The experience at Wimbledon metro is shocking, no one is around, 1 bank teller who sees to everyone but you have to queue up and wait for god knows how long to only be told that you?re gonna have to come back at another time when our staff can see to you. This would eliminate the whole process of waiting 20minutes in the queue to be told to come back and wait again.Definitely wouldn?t recommend coming here during your lunch as you won?t get anything done within an hour as most of it is waiting in the queue and complaining about it with other customers in the queue.Ridiculous. Metro Wimbledon - fix up as you?re dragging the other stores down.

They don't change your old pounds if u havnt an acount there. Don't recommend for touris who still have old pounds from there last visit

If I could give zero stars I would. By far and away the worst metro I have ever been to. Not got a scooby doo between em. Clapham Junction, Clapham High St and Croydon branches are very good. This is a tin pot outfit.

Unfortunately the metro bank 'not customers, Fans' culture is definitely dead in this branch. Staff are walking around doing nothing. There's typically 3 or 4 staff serving, everyone else is doing their thing and doesn't want to help a waiting customer. Staff here are not only rude and unhelpful, they don't understand the importance of helping a customer quickly. They don't allow appointments, so you have to walk in, if you walk in for a small task or opening a lengthy business account , you wait in the same queue which has no timeline. Often you are waiting and waiting and the quoted 5 or 10 minutes turns into 40 minutes.The management needs to seriously help their customer representatives be motivated (be it through incentives or better pay) because they all look depressed and are rude and unhelpful. If you make a big scene they will help you immediately, which leads me to think they CAN help you but they prefer to do their non urgent tasks instead. I think they need more advisors at any one time. The metro bank culture that existed in some of the other branches when this bank was new, is definitely long gone in this branch.

There seem to be around 15-20 staff just walking around doing nothing while one man is manning the cashier?s desk. Surely a manager/supervisor could step in to assist to help with queuing customers who are basically being ignored?Really terrible management of customers who choose to trust their money with this bank. Safe to say after today?s experience I?ll be leaving.
