The staff at this post office has repeatedly quoted only the most experience services and even after being explicitly asked to list all options - including more economical ones - deliberately and repeatedly left out cheaper options. 4 times and counting now. Fine if you just need to drop something off - ABSOLUTELY avoid if you need advice on pricing options - this is borderline fraudulent.

Please be aware that they can scam customers on postal prices and have done at this branch. Check your receipt for what you have been charged for before you leave

I visited my local post office today to send few parcels and there were only two people in the queue but they took 17 minutes to serve us. One gentleman was on the phone and wasn't even looking and pretended to be busy. I used to love going there as the service was excellent.

I?ve lived in the area for almost 20 years, and have always used this Post Office, however the interaction I experienced there today has baffled me no end. Having requested a first class stamp I asked whether any with pictures were available (as opposed to the standard queens head) as I was sending a birthday card, and an interesting picture always makes the delivery a little bit more interesting at the very least. I was informed that they did have pictured versions but that I would have to go over to the other window where the man that had them sat. Whilst this interaction was going on the guy at the window I was at had processed my payment and so told me to go over to the other guy to get the stamp. Upon being told that the stamp had already been paid for, the guy who had the pictured stamps told me that I would have to buy his pictured stamp separately, and that the transaction I?d made at the other window wasn?t transferable to his window. I said I only needed one stamp, so asked if he could therefore pass the book of pictured stamps to his colleague so that I could finalise my purchase, and he refused. I then asked how we could make this work - I?ve asked for a pictured stamp, I?ve paid for it and I just want to get the stamp I?d requested - he told me the only option was for me to take a plain stamp from the window I?d made the transaction at and then come to his window and buy another one with a picture on it. I was confused ?what?s the difference?? I asked. The fact I?d paid for it at another window seemed irrelevant to me as the whole area behind all the windows is the same room, and so I asked why it wasn?t possible for me to simply buy what I?d asked for. He didn?t explain why and instead reiterated the only option he was giving. With a confused look on my face he then withdrew the option and said he no longer had any pictured stamps!!?? I was completely baffled as to what was happening. I?ve never had any altercation with anyone there before, I?ve got a sound reputation in the area, and so I wondered if he was confusing me with someone that had caused him issues before - it seemed that confusing. So I asked him why he was being so difficult. He didn?t respond. Suffice to say it?s the last time I ever go into that store. Very, very strange and untoward.

I went to post office today 13/04/21 at 12:41 to send small parcel to Poland of weight 87g.I have specifically asked for the standard international service (£5.80 at the post office), I was asked few questions about the parcel in friendly manner but ended up with the International Track and Sign £10.50 which is nearly double of the price. I find it disgraceful to deliberatly overprice services especially during pandemic. I was served by man around 40 with carly grey hair.It seems to be a common practice in post offices but I was coming to Colliers Wood as I was treated fairly there - till today.Since I am regular customer I prefer to buy a weight and order the online service where I pay for what I buy.Two stars down for the overpricing and my today's disappointment.

My friends told me that they were rude and the whay they treat you like if you're nobody, but I didn't believed till I had to go there, ive been there yesterday to post a package and ask some questions to the staff about printing label and they just talked with me as if they were annoyed already, im not going there any more, horrible, waste of time to be treated like if I was nothing. I give one star because there's no option for none !! Im guessing the good reviews here are from staff friends and family the ones they treat good lol

The post office counter here is always absolutely brilliant. I have used it for many years. I cannot say about the grocery shop as I haven't used it. I am genuinely shocked by the previous negative review.

Conveniently located next to Colliers Wood tube and staff have always been very pleasant and helpful. I often send gifts and cards abroad so always appreciate when they direct me to the best cost options. Do suggest being mindful of their opening times as they vary but very happy to use them when open.

Ordered some stuff from Amazon two days ago to be delivered today, Saturday, from 6 to 11pm (as this is what Amazon advises as their opening times+tomorrow open!) AS NEEDED URGENTLY. I've been there at 7pm today, to hear that the post office closes at 5.30pm. When I have told the guy at the counter that Amazon told us to collect the parcel at those given opening times and if they could notify them of the mistake he answered in a very arrogant way '' well, is it too late now what is done is done''. WHAT A USELESS, RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE! AVOID THEM IF YOU DON'T WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME. It is not really about the wrong opening times, but the most annoying thing was the arrogant dude at the counter.
