Even though this was the 1000th Sainsburys I visited, they did not accept a digital ID for 1 beer. I am 35, I have crow's feet on my face but they made a great deal out of it that I needed to show a physical ID.I understand where you are coming from but you can use the reason sometimes rather than following the rules blindly. I live in Germany so trust me I know what I am talking about.So yes a terrible customer experience and a very rude attitude in this digitalized world. And yes I will do my shopping from some other brand and def not this branch.

Placed my order through Uber eat!! On arrival half of my items were missing ! My mince beef was out of date by 3 days and the colour was so disgusting, but obviously they think it?s ok to send out of date items to customers..! would you make out of date at home for yourself? Is that why you would think it?s ok to send it to other people??Manager was unprofessional over the phone, he didn?t sort the problem out as half of my items were missing and some that I had were out of date!! When I called him he actually said this does happen as it?s only Sainsbury?s local and they don?t have that much delivery going in. So for him it was ok and normal to send out of date products !!!he didn?t even want to give his name and when he did, he said his name is Ganesalingam !Would not recommend at all !! Keep checking the dates before sending them to customers !

I have ordered a few times from here and items were missing from my shopping despite Sainsbury charging me for the goods. This has happened again just now and when I called Sainsbury and told them this the lady at Sainsbury said I need to contact Uber. This is daylight robbery as they charge a delivery fee which means that for the missing items I would have to reorder and pay delivery fee again. What a gimmick. Shame on Uber and Sainsbury. I never leave feedback but this is ridiculous. I won?t be ordering from here again.

Shop assistant Justin went above and beyond when he overheard us trying to find our wraps for the fajitas later today ? Really impressed with the customer service. The shop itself is super handy and seems to always be open. Great for a last minute meal idea. Bravo to the team here!

Me and my partner go to this cozy little store almost every other day. We love shopping for the lovely reduced items, I mean who doesn?t. Staff is very friendly and helpful.Except today wasn?t like any other day, we were just walking around checking items we want to buy, only to be followed by the security guard all around. At first I didn?t care thought he was just doing his job, but it was only after he stopped my partner when we were going out I realised why he was following us.We had a backpack my partner was carrying, after walking through all the aisles we thought of not buying anything and go out.To our surprise the security guard stopped my partner at the door and asked him toOpen the bag.Now I get that he is doing his job and with the mask on these days you can hardly make out anyone?s intention.But this whole thing could have been handled better, he was being impolite and directly started checking items from the bag that we bought from a hardware store earlier.My partner cooperated and showed the bag but it was a bit humiliating situation. Instead of asking if we bought anything from the store the guy directly went for the bag search.I am for sure not going to the store back again after this incident

I have been visiting the Sainsbury's here during lockdown, as it has been one of the few stores consistently open late in the evening, and therefore quiet if one visit just before closing. As a small branch, the selection is inevitably limited, and the prices are a bit higher than Morrison's down the road, for example. But it's decent for a quick shop, and they sell both fresh bread and a reasonable selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, groceries and frozen goods.
