Impeccable location, located right by the baggage claim belt, within the secure zone. Ideal for catching an early flight. Do not expect much, but it's ok.Noteworthy details: Right by the luggage claim belt at T3

For international travelers hoping to stay here during a layover, BE AWARE that you must go through immigration to access this hotel, and then go back through security to re-enter the airport terminal for your connecting flight. We were told by an LHR security employee that this process would likely take us 2-3 hours total. As a result, we did not end up staying in the double room we had booked in advance for a 5 hour layover after an overnight flight from the US. My 3 star review is based on the fact that we tried calling the property several times upon arriving at LHR (at 11:30AM) but weren't able to reach anyone. We finally sent an email and did get a response...3 days later. I also felt the website should be a bit more clear about the precise location of the hotel and the fact that international passengers must clear immigration in order to access it. I'm sure we would have enjoyed being able to rest in a quiet room with our 18 month old after an exhausting flight, but ended up going to the American Express Centurion Lounge inside Terminal 3 instead.

Rooms are tiny with no windows and forced air on. I would say prison cells are nicer. If your looking for dried eyes, skin lips lungs, then this is the place first you.Food & drinks: There is no where to eat beer here

A marvellous addition the Heathrow airport which does not require leaving the airport perimeter to get a good night's sleep!Best accessed via the arrivals area of terminal three I found (Heathrow airport had tunnel issues when I was there and the airport had failed to adequately signpost a diversion to find the hotel...very frustrating for hotel and guests alike!).The hotel is a simple airport affair. Rooms may have no natural light but are well lit. Shower rooms are neatly decorated and user friendly.I had a queen sized bed which was up against the wall. Perfect for one and suitable for two smaller travellers. As I only had hand luggage with bags checked through already the room was perfect for me.This is a really ideal spot to grab some sleep ahead of departing terminals 1/2/3 or arriving therefrom (I was departing T3 having arrived T5 and it was perfect). There were some quirks on the hotel web site when I booked but email to reception saw this promptly.Check in staff are courteous, friendly and helpful at all hours - a great service compared to what can often be anonymous airport hotel experiences after shuttle buses galore.Thoroughly recommended for a decent sleep in transit at Heathrow.

I use a wheelchair. Heathrow Special Assistance staff failed to deliver me to my connecting flight. So I missed it.A customer service desk rep 'in charge of helping passengers find accommodation' told me there were NO hotels at this airport. After sobbing for two hrs straight due to the whole ordeal inc an airline's rude, disrespectful rep, a random staff member told me about Aerotel.I followed her directions - walking past the 'No Hotels at this airport' desk - found Aerotel about 150 MTRS ahead. Terminal 3.The concierge staff were shocked at my ordeal, quickly gave me water and were super kind and empathic, treating me like their own grandma. They even helped me to my room. The room was tiny but super clean and new! Double bed was comfortable, TV, no window. Lift.Lobby had lots sandwiches, wraps, mostly at half price. Also drinks, snacks.I would definitely stay again. My stay here was the only highlight at Heathrow airport.

Spent a full 24 hours here before my flight back home to YVR. Great room, quiet and comfy. Great price w/being a member and the discount that was offered when I booked. Small but didn't need much space for my stay, shower was nice with hotbwater, bathroom very clean. Cafe Nero and WH Smith super close, great for snacks/coffee etc. 3 minute walk to Terminal 3 departures.Safety: Card access to your floor and room.Walkability: Located in Terminal 3. Departures very close.

Room was very clean and neat but smaller than anticipated and fairly pricey for what we got but the plusses far outweigh the minuses. Great stay.Rooms: Small but with all essentials.

Rooms: There are no windows! It feels like you?re in prison. Do not stay here! There is a Hilton that is also very close to Terminal 3 that has windows and other hotel services.

Very good. I wish only that they rented rooms by the hour, like Yotel. Sometimes you arrive at 8:00 a.m. after an all-night flight, you want a place to sleep for five or six hours, and you don't want to pay for two days.

Great hotel if you have an early flight or late landing. The hotel is actually located inside terminal 3, which is a bonus. Located is up from arrivals. The rooms are compact, but they are comfortable. Small bathroom with a shower. Tea / coffee making facilities. With the hotel located inside the airport, there are food outlets. There is a small snack bar for drinks, sandwiches and chocolate, etc, at the hotel reception. My one criticism is that the internal rooms have a green safety light that is on all the time. If you are used to sleeping in a fully dark room, I suggest you bring an eye mask with you ?.

From their website, they are outside airport restricted area: "AEROTEL LONDON HEATHROW is located at Heathrow Airport Terminal 3 Arrivals (outside airport restricted area). Our entrance can be found next to the car rentals desk inside the Arrivals hall (after clearing arrivals customs and immigration). Please present your booking confirmation to check-in."

Excellent place to stay and absolutely 5 star customer service, I made a mess up with our booking date which the manager sorted for us on arrival to accommodate a change only to realise after we also had to stay an additional night as our flights were incorrect , Jackie was super helpful and sorted everything out for us to help us out of the situation I had got us in to, the staff really went the extra mile, this really helped to alleviate the stress! The rooms themselves are very modern, clean, quiet and very well appointed I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay and would like to thank everyone for their professionalism and kindness
