It was my second visit to Wide Fit Shoes and I can safely say that they are to be highly recommended ! The owner, who also serves in the shop, has vast experience and a very good reputation. People come (and return) from all over. He certainly knows what he is talking about. He has a pleasant manner also, as do his staff, and I felt that I was being treated according to my personal needs and circumstances. The footwear is expensive but you can be assured, more importantly, that you are receiving quality. Both in what you are purchasing and in the customer service (note again here the emphasis on personal) you are receiving.

If you've got problem feet this shop is a must! Caring professional staff, nothing is too much trouble. My Mum hasn't had a comfortable pair of shoes for years and now she has a perfect pair of shoes and slippers. We wish we had found your shop sooner, thank you so much.

I ordered brown shoes size 10.5 2E. They sent me black shoes size 10.5 G, despite the fact that the included packing list said brown 10.5 2E. Who packed these shoes? The refund was prompt but was for £2.99 less than the purchase price and ignored the £3 cost of returning the shoes, and my time and inconvenience. No apology.

TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICEThe staff did not acknowledge my mum and I. The owner did not measure my mums feet for the correct size, but instead guessed the size. We were served by 3 different people. We were waiting around the shop for service.The owner intimidated me and said that the shoes were £49 and not £14 when I was well aware that they were £49. I was the person who helped my mum find and try on shoes...I might as well of worked there. Very lazy!!! She also spent most of her time complaining about how busy she was in the office and that I should understand that. I have never been treated like this by an owner of a shop....very unprofessional and sarcastic behaviour. I will never go there again!

This is the best wide fit shoe shop I have been to. I was dealt with by a very observant and helpful member of staff who understood where my feet were most sensitive, and what range of movement I could manage. They have an interesting range of styles, know their stock extremely well. My new shoes are beautiful quality leather and very well made.

We were served by a lovely gentleman, who is the shop owner. His knowledge of the shoes and foot problems was outstanding. My husband age 69, now has his first ever pair of comfortable pair of shoes. Thank you so much. Jim & Dot
