During Covid, they want people not wearing face mask. Worse customer service here ever. Security guard is rude. Does not understand how smartshop works.

I went today to buy a product from the assistant at the till. I greeted him, he didn?t reply, I asked then for the product, he just looked at me and he replied I serve someone else( the person who was serving wasn?t there and he didn?t even mention anything earlier as I approached the till) . Then I replied back that I couldn?t know that, and he asked me to stay on the side. I?m standing on the side and then he speaks to me again to tell me to stand on a different spot, although there was no queue or anyone else that I was obstructing.Unacceptable behaviour to a customer. Unfriendly, rude and kind of obvious he was discriminative.I preferred to leave the shop and not buy the product I was looking for, as these kind of things should not happen, and there should be people in those positions that they know the basics of customer service and respect others.

As you would expect from a Sainsbury's Local... has most of what you would need, but some produce either completely gone before midday or not available (bakery section).

Although I have never been to this Sainsbury before, I visited today around 20.00pm. I locked my electric bike outside the shop as I went into the shop to buy shopping for my patient, who is bed bound. As a bike rider, I invariably use snood. Even lots of delivery drivers use this to keep body warm while riding in windy condition. Tonight, I felt such a shame and embarrassed by one of their lady store workers. The way she approached me, people were looking at me as though I was a shoplifter. I then asked her where I could find bread, she showed me and followed me. I felt disgusted and discriminated by her approach. I then went over to the till and to pay by cash. I called one of their colleagues over, explained everything and showed him my ID card I am health carer . Although he said sorry for the inconvenience, just because I had a mask on, how could she judge me without actually identifying & confirming whether I was a suspect or not. Some of their staff certainly need customer service training!

I do most of my weekly shop here and it always has everything I need, staff are polite and so helpful.Would recommend this place for your everyday needs!

Today I got stopped in front of not only my daughter but everyone in the store by the security guard asking to see my receipt as he was accusing me of stealing the stuff ? definitely won?t be going there again! I?m in there most days

While trying to get a meal deal, it isn't clear what counts as a meal deal, in such a way that they seem to be deceiving costumers pay a wrong amount. Staff were annoyed when asked about this watermelon which says meal deal, saying that it clearly wasn't in the meal deal???

The store manager or Sainsburys directly needs to deal with the security guard who was on duty today 25/08/2022 @15:50. My partner was using a self checkout when an item would not register and just needed clearing. He demanded that she move and use another till when she had already scanned the majority of her items. When asked to clear it because of the above he refused to do so and said no because you won?t you another till, she felt very intimidated and quite upset as a result! To say I am disappointed with her experience is an understatement!

I went shopping in my bicycle but forgot the lock. I politely requested the security guard to leave my bike in a corner while I do a quick shop ( as I've done in the past in many other supermarkets)\\n\\nthe security guard refused in very bad manner not even allowing to park the bike in front of the shop.\\n\\nSurprising, considering it is close to Uni and many students come by bike...\\n\\nSainsburys lost a customer today, I refuse to buy from a company with no respect for its customers

Used to be my go-to, but now most of the tills are nonfunctioning, stuff is out of date, customers are rushing around jumping the queue, druggies emptying the shelves and running out with stuff. Hope it gets a new management team as seems there's no management going on at the moment.
