Large supermarket close to the city. Excellent transport links but most importantly a large car park for shoppers, 90min free parking.\\n\\nThe front of the store has been redesigned and the car park is now on one level in the front of the store. The store is good size with all the usual products, lots of self checkouts but the end of the queue is awkwardly positioned and you can't always tell when a checkout is empty.\\nThere is an Argos collection point insid. There are toilets for customers.

I just bought baby food and nappies worth £40 the security kept chasing me like i will steal or have stolen something, sorry i was not aware in Sainsbury?s we are not allowed to browse the section to make decision which products to choose before buying, i felt so uncomfortable that i did not even buy grocery and left the store. I will never shop from this store again.

Good sized shop with a lot of parking. Definitely the largest in the general area. The shop is only a couple of minutes walk from Whitechapel station.Very good selection of alcohol and vegetarian/vegan foods.

Not going back, been a customer for 25 years and recently been fined at the new car park. Maybe you want to tell customers that you have reduced the length of stay as well as the number of bays, when you have been coming to the same store for this long it slips your mind to look for new signs and sadly I assumed the stay was the same as before. I couldn?t get a space for my disabled elderly mother and so had to park in a standard bay. Not one sign anywhere near any of the bays saying you had changed the parking rules. Took as long as it takes to do two medium weekly shops for her and me and then the customer service counter and then Argos counter too. Despite the delay for having a disabled elderly person to get around the shop and the ques at every part - including to even find a trolley still done and left the car park in 2 hrs. Not one person told us the parking length of stay was now reduced by 30 minutes with no option to extend. Absolutely shocked. Loyal customers for 25 + years. Had I have known I would have parked elsewhere or more likely just not come to this store as I can?t see how I would get the shopping done with disabled elderly person in 1.5 hours, getting her in or out the car alone takes almost half hour on a bad day!!

Changed since my last visit. Gone is the spacious overhead carpark to be replaced by a somewhat crowded space . The shop was much the same as usual, lost leaders at the front of the store to catch your eye, but very clean and attentive staff.

Looks very unorganised, there are two cash machines in the middle near the flowers and one of them doesn't work. There is no security, people are walking pass. Felt so uncomfortable!Bakery section is messy.

The store's exterior got completely redone with a huge ground level parking.. the designer completely ignore the needs of cycling costumers with only 3 bike parking space in this huge parking. The store used to have a decent amount of bike parking space. Why remove this service. Where are cyclists supposed to park to do their shopping?

A lovely store and has been my favourite supermarket for years. However I will not be going back due to the totally inadequate car park. It is so small and totally unfit for purpose given the size of the store. The car park was recently extended but remains complete inadequate. I was hit by a £50 parking fine prior to Christmas because of the 60 minute time limit which is totally unrealistic. I have been back several times since Christmas and driven around the car park and been unable to find a space each time. Today was the final straw and I will not be going back.

New car park layout is stupid. Less space. Tiered parking was plenty. Also no exit pathway out to Durward St, Brady street, or even to the Whitechapel underground station. Have to walk all the way around just to get out made the journey longer. Use to come in every week to shop before I go to work. Now won't do that anymore due to the time now it takes just to get in and out and back to the station. Very inconvenient

New car park is open. Multistory carpark is now one level ground floor only. 1.5hrs max stay. Entrance from Cambridge Heath road again.

We had a parking ticket. Explained to the parking company why we could not move the car. The in store customer service advised that we speak to the manager and they should be able to waive it if we showed them our mitigating circumstance.Chasing the store manager was a nightmare and every one else would just pass the buck.In that time due to not getting hold of the manager the parking company have doubled the parking charges on behalf of Sainsbury?s.It?s a shame that Sainsbury?s is going down the route of ignoring their loyal customers who shop there regularly. This is not the store it once was!
