Great location and lovely staff. Rooms are tired. Fine for one or two nights. Basic, clean and not too noisy. WiFi wasn't that great. I ended up using data despite paying the day charge (£3). Overall absolutely fine for a short stay on a budget.

Excellent central location, 5 minutes from Liverpool street underground. Muhammed (The Manager) was the best manager or front reception staff we have come across. He was extremely polite, helpful and a pleasure to talk to you - thankyou, you are a credit to Travelodge.

Rooms a basic, which is fineWater pools on the bathroom floor and smells mustyThere?s next to no service. Cleaning isn?t everyday which I find weird for a hotel. Especially at its price rangeGood location thoWalkability: Really close to the Liverpool street station and has got loads of amenities around

Usual Travelodge experience, this time in central London. This looks like one of the slightly older locations and the rooms reflect that. Nothing particular wrong, just a bit worn out. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was fine so overall meet the need. One thing to note, it's quiet a noisy location with people outside until gone midnight.

Had a really good 1 night stay here. The room was nice and quiet, was spotlessly clean and well equipped (including a fan!!) for my short stay.Bathroom was a little cramped (between the sink and toilet) but perfectly serviceable and again...squeaky clean!!!The Assistant Manager who checked me in was lovely, friendly and really welcoming....she was also there for my check-out and was again great...offering to store my suitcase if needed. The location is perfect....just a few minutes walk from Liverpool Street Station!I will definitely stay here again!!Rooms: Perfect for a short stay and spotlessly clean.Walkability: A 5 minute walk from Liverpool Street Station

Great location, within walking distance of Liverpool Street station. Clean well equipped room, with tea/coffee, iron and board. Would have given it 5 stars if there had been air conditioning. The staff at reception were welcoming, friendly and efficient. We were able to leave luggage at the hotel both before checking in and after check out, so very convenient. Very competitive price for last minute booking. Would recommend.

Bathroom toilet was disgustingly dirty. Dirty stains on door frames and walls (dread to think what they were). Wifi was out but apparently a Virgin issue not hotel but reception weren?t exactly helpful about it - just tough and have to ring customer service for refund on what was paid.

Hotel prices in London were double, and rooms hard to find at last minute. This fitted our requirements. Will definitely think of using them again Good location, but rumble from Underground could be felt

The bed was way too hard and unable to get comfy. The pillows were flat and it wasnt much of a duvet was really thin. There wasnt enough staff working and couldn't order dinner as nobody there to serve drinks and food. We kept hearing thudding noises like either the tube underground or someone playing loud music. We appreciate the customer service at night and pleased that there was an option to check out and leave bags stored safe for later pick up.

The room was really clean. The location was perfect for traveling around central London. Window views are also great. Beds were comfortable and tidy. The staff was really helpful. Thank you Jyotsana for the beautiful stay

Clean basic room. There is no air con and the hotel is in a very noisy location. So if you need the window open as I did maybe bring some ear plugs. There was a fan in the room and an iron and ironing board.

I stayed in this hotel for one night on business and was satisfied with my visit. Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. My room was on the top (6th) floor and I used the elevator. Note the 'ground floor' of the elevator is actually up a dozen stairs off reception - there is a small disabled lift if you are in a wheelchair, but it's a degree of faff that might put some people off. The room was spacious and well equipped, with adequate storage space, iron and board, kettle and coffee/tea sachets, etc. There is no air-con in the room, and when I arrived the window was open to let some air in...there was a desk fan which did a good job of keeping me cool, however the lack of air-con on a hot day in London might be a factor for some visitors. The hotel is on a bit of a back street and overnight it was pretty quiet even with the window open, however in the morning there were roadworks outside the hotel that was really noisy, fortunately I was up and out fairly early so it didn't cause any issues. The hotel is just 5 minutes walk from Liverpool Street station and 10 minutes walk from Tower Bridge so it's a great location, and therefore the price was good value. The bathroom was basic but met my needs...the room was clean although the shower wasn't the most powerful I have come across. It did the job though. The breakfast was buffet style with a decent mix of chilled fruit, yoghurts, cereals, etc plus a hot buffet selection, which was okay. There were a couple of drinks machines with a good range of coffees. The only thing to highlight is that the dining room (on 1st floor) has limited spaces so at busy times there might be a wait for a table...there are some cosy chairs in one corner to the right as you enter, although I do prefer to be sitting up at a table when eating...I managed to get a table but it was pretty full when I finished eating. The only other observation was the lift buttons...for some odd reason the button on the top floor was an UP arrow, and on other floors there were two UP arrows instead of an up and down - not sure why they are upside down, but I found it amusing. Overall a pleasant stay and I would certainly use this hotel again.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Travelodge hotel near Liverpool Street in London. The hotel was everything we expected from Travelodge, good value, clean, and a comfort Ed for a good nights sleep, and what made it even better were the really helpful staff.
