One of the GPs gave me the wrong medication which made my condition worse

I went to the Surgery this morning even though I had no appointment to show them my BP readings over the weeks and asked to give the readings to the pharmacist. As the pharmacist was not available I asked that the readings be shown a doctor on duty. I was immediately seen by a Gp who reviewed my medication and prescribed other medicines and increased my doses. I feel grateful to the doctor for seeing me even during her break. Hopefully my readings would improve

Booked an appointment at 7:59am and I was second in the que. Was told it was booked for 9-10 then got a call at 9:50 saying they cancelled it due to logistical error. How dare you decide if my appointment was worthy and choose to prioritise others. I was entitled to the appointment I booked!! Disgusting

Just wanted to say massive thank you to a young lady called Ihilesen at the reception who is very helpful. Helped with my enquiries every single time Nothing was too much for her. Also nurses and doctors are also great to me and my family. Never had a problem with this GP.

Appointments system is a joke and getting your medication takes ages as they cannot be bothered to read emails from from other doctors and the only reason I stay with them is they are close to me as I have terminal cancer and cannot travel far maybe if they did not take a year saying that my severe weight loss was down to my diabetes when actually it was cancer just wish they would look after the patients properly as that?s what they are paid for and the nurses are great

Services use to be good, was never that difficult to get appointments before. 8am Appointment lines open, you call and takes an hour to get through, depending what number you are in the line. By then an hour has passed until you finally get through to reception and no appointments left. And this sadly is a typical day/week. I notice there are lots of empty doctors rooms in this surgery and usually only 2 or 3 doctors on shift. Not good enough really. Try again tomorrow ?

To whom it may concern,I would like to let you know that my partner was rushed on an ambulance to the e and a department in the saint Georges hospital. The reason why, is because she was bleeding out after she came to check herself the same morning in your gp, apparently the doctor didn't even bother to check what was wrong or check the vitals sign. the doctor just gave antibiotics. I can't understand why the doctor didn't check her properly as she just gave birth 3 weeks ago and had lots of stitches and massive infection during the following week. Imagine that at least you will check the records of your patients just in case something was wrong with that person. She will need surgery tomorrow. I feel that the way my partner was treated wasn't the right one. I expect an answer explaining properly how someone in this state it's been dismissed from the GP.This was meant to be sent via email... Obviously the email that they display in the webpage is not active or working.

Me and my family have been with this Surgery for a long time, many changes have happened etc but the last few years have been horrible (before the pandemic) I understand that when COVID19 first broke out it must have been a nightmare to deal with new changes and backlogs, however what's the excuse now? Many issues with repeat prescriptions mainly. We have ordered a repeat prescription for a fragile family member, who requires and is depend on all the medications. She needs to collect them every month, but this time it was the worst. She always kept some emergency packs, if her medicine doesn't arrive on time, but she used all that too and waited another 2 days for it. We had to call out of hours service to get her medication. I can say that not all receptionist are bad, mostly the female employees seem to be understanding and on the friendlier side, but the others... whatever it is pointless.

Would give zero stars if i could they are completely useless, every single month there is always a problem getting my prescription and i have to go a week without them causing withdrawals and god knows what else. Im only under this practice because i was forced to move to the same one as my son when he was born. Completely ridiculous.Update, they denied my request for my co-codamol that i need desperately because of severe back pain that i have had since i was a child, its in my records. Now i have to wait all weekend even though ive been waiting all week no one thought to tell me this i had to phone up myself even though i was told it would be given to me today yesterday. Absolutely abismal service

What is going on with this practice?Have been with them since I moved into the area over 20 years ago. (I know it moved into a new building but had the same GPs). It takes forever to get an appointment! They don't know what days a clinician is actually in! I know Covid caused a lot of backlog but surely by now GPs should be doing face to face appointments again? Wear a mask! It's not difficult! I have a long-term illness which every so often I have to see my GP. We all have a right to see a GP that knows our history so we don't have to keep going through it again! One GP actually asks what we want to do? We're not the doctor! I would give it zero stars but that is not possible.

I have been in contact with the Practice Manager for 3 months on sorting out medical notes which she keeps Promising to do. This has been October,November,December and we are in January 2022 now and she hasn?t done them yet .Doctors have even informed her as well and still not changed . My medication is the same as well. Now for the last 2weeks she won?t even answer my Phone calls .Receptionist won?t put me through to the Main Partner always saying not in .Surely the NHS ombudsman must investigate this Practice Immediately .

A previous GP of mine diagnosed my severe abdominal pain as "nothing". 2 days later, I was in A&E having my appendix removed.RAVENSBURY PARK MEDICAL CENTRE IS WORSE THAN THAT!You can't get an appointment to save your life - literally. The reception staff seem to actively prevent you from getting care.If you turn up in person at 8am, you can't get an appointment. But you can't book appointments in advance, so how is it the GPs can't see patients? The receptionists don't turn on the phone system at 8am and then just ignore it when they do. It is really antagonising behaviour - they seem like the last people who should be working customer service, especially when those customers are unwell and desperately seeking aid.Would've given negative stars, but the lower limit is 1.
