Stayed here because of the closeness to our venues to celebrate ? my husband's,Peter , birthday, and closeness to family and friends. The room was OK but we had to turn the heater off...it was 21 degrees outside...sweltering! I know, October...really??There was only one bath towel and one hand towel,so once I had had a shower and washed my hair there were no more dry towels ..not even a step on shower mat..... unless the hand towel was supposed to be the bath mat...? I used the small hand towel to wrap my wet hair....There was a sign you could put out on the door to alert housekeeping that the towels needed changing,we did that but again only one bath towel and one hand towel was exchanged .....clearly the room was occupied by two adults. There was no hair dryerand no small iron for those slightly creased shirts...?Toilet paper was cheap and nasty, surely for the price you pay they could afford better!!!! Come on !!!We found the key to the room cumbersome and awkward, surely a swipe card is so much easier, and for two people to have one key was not good either...having to ask each other for the key is SO old.!!!!The staff there were very helpful, can't take that away from them, polite and helpful. But....Come on Travelodge, give the people what they pay for!!!!Food & drinks: We went to the eatery across from the Travelodge, I met up there with my husband and some family in the late afternoon.I went to the bar to buy us a drink. Little did I know that I would be waiting for 15 minutes to be served.....two people at the bar were also ordering food, food for adults and children, their likes and dislikes and sauces and etc and etc......really???One staff member at the bar serving???When I asked if there was anyone else serving the girl said no,only me at this time.....so I stood and waited and finally I was served....after I gave my drinks order the bar server asked another member of staff to help serve the now very long queue!!!!Couldn't or shouldn't she have done that sooner before the queue built up???? Really not happy about the length of time it took to order 4 drinks, the length of the queue behind me was terrible...not good.?

So the good points, the hotel is well located for morden tube and train connections and there is free parking. The bad points, the carpets are filthy, the rooms are old and tired, the tiles behind the toilet were cracked, the bathroom smelt really damp and we had to leave the bathroom light and fan on all night so it did not smell overpowering. The corridor is noisy. People are clearly living long term in this hotel and there are rubbish bags and other things left in corridors overnight. The loo roll is thinner than a rizla and they leave you about half a roll in the room. The laundry collection happens at about 6am on a Sunday morning and is noisy as hell. Also, there is a church next door, and the bells go on the hour every hour throughout the night so if you are a light sleeper this is not for you. At 8.45am on a Sunday the bells starts and continue for 15 minutes so don't expect a lay in.

Hotel has seen better days, the hotel was smelly inside and it was peaceful, the bed squeeked like crazy. the worst thing, although you rarly see anuone is that so many rooms are given over to the homeless

Its basic. But comfortable clean rooms. Only breakfast option is a box containing cornflakes and milk, Musli bar and a pan au chocolate. Also an orange juice. I was quite happy with this instead of my usual pile of unlimited fried food at other establishments. The staff were exemplary especially Ceslovas who was most helpful and friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room, it was spacious with comfy bed. The shower was good. The room was clean and both receptionists pleasant and helpful. It was quiet in the room. Having the harvester next door was very useful

The WImbledon Moredon Travelodge on Epsom Road is well located, and with loads of free parking, but fails miserably compared to Premier Inn, for eg, and is more expensive too. We had to wait to be checked in whilst the receptionist was busy chatting with someone outside the hotel. The corridors and rooms had an unpleasant smell. Rooms had traditional keys, rather than the digital cards in use everywhere. One of the lights in the room was flickering; the bath tub did not seem to drain the water well; the body wash dispenser was not working in the room.

Don't be put off by its location. It's a 10min walk to the Northern line which runs 24 hrs. (Buses pass regularly as well) This is my go-to hotel for London when everything else is costly. The beds are really comfortable and the location is super quiet. There's no aircon but the windows open fully on the ground floor. Parking is free and there's a Beefeater at the end of the carpark. Plenty of eateries is Morden as well. Staff are friendly as well. This is one of the better Travelodges. I'd rather be here then stuck in one in town where the windows don't open and no aircon. Totally recommend it.Safety: pretty quiet location and felt happy leaving windows open.Walkability: Just two stories and Morden tube is a 10 min walk

At reception I was greeted by Ceslovas who took special care of all I asked from him and honestly went above and beyond. I did ask some questions about staying at this travelodge and for our other groups to stay at another travelodge and he helped out by calling central reservations and trying to accommodate everything I needed and asked.

Average hotel with standard room sizes. On the higher end in terms of price. Needs refurbishment and maintenance to a better standard.Plus side busy location with good Service and free parking.
