The staff are lovely but the queues are almost always terrible, and not just at peak times as the management would have you believe. Not having enough staff to serve customers leads to bad experiences all round, tempers fray. Opening on Sunday is a good idea but it doesn?t seem to have made much difference to the queue. Not sure where else to go though someone here mentions a post office 5 mins drive away. When there are 3 staff serving you have a chance of getting away in 15 mins so check that out when you arrive. If there are only 2 you are in for the long haul.

People seem nice but this is clueless organisation. Line out of the door and one team member has to stay on the stationary counter with nothing to do. Only 2 behind PO counter. What are they thinking? I won?t use them after today unless I hear they have reorganised.

Terrible service. One employee started raging at a customer for no reason. One employee suggested to an elderly customer that "special delivery" was the cheapest option that they provide.....how rude to take advantage of eldery unsuspecting customers.

Terrible experience with returning an EVRI parcel today. 2 people at the UOE counter across the door, a girl and her manager Jaryd chatting away. At the counter I say I have a return, instead of acknowledging me, he insists that the girl keep scanning his parcels instead of doing my return. His parcel kept retuning an error message. He insisted she put it the barcode number manually. He then grabs the machine off her and keeps trying himself. All this while I wait patiently. This gentleman, then takes the machine and walks away from the counter instead of, let?s see, serving waiting customers quickly or explain that they are having some kind of an issue, and that I return at a different time. The girl then starts serving the customer behind me in the queue who needed photos. I?m just standing there waiting to be served..Needless to say avoid wasting your time at Muswell Hill UOE, the staff here think they are above doing their job indicated by their sarcastic responses to previous bad reviews. You can almost always count on there being a long line out the door. Extremely inefficient branch with incompetent staff.

Better to close the branch if you have not sufficient staff to guarantee a decent service. Been trying to post a parcel for the past 3 days and queue is unreasonable. Awful. By the way why would I need someone to weigh my parcel, take it from me and put it in a sack?!

I have been there 3 days ago.My intention was to send 2 parcels with vinted. Queue was long, only 2 people at the counter even if I could count more team members there. I queued for 35/40 minutes, when it was my turn the team member said that unfortunately he couldn?t not send my parcels as system error with QR codes of vinted. I couldn?t believe it! Speechless? don?t you think to advise your guests when they are queuing that this kind of operation is not possible (?)Also 2 people at the counters and other 2 people on the corner of the shop looks like they were only chitchatting. Instead of maybe helping as 35 people queued outside the shop.

My father tried to send something to us via BFPO as we?re overseas with the armed forces. Not only did they not know what BFPO was but they messed with the address writing the destination country on it, so now the parcel has entered the domestic postal system and we have no idea when it will arrive. Please educate your staff on all of the services you provide, and if a customer is insisting something is wrong then a manager needs to get involved, don?t take it upon yourselves to override a valid BFPO address. I tried to raise this with customer services but no-one called me back (shock) and my father was charged 3 times as much as he should have been.*edit* thank you for trying to get in touch with me and for speaking to the staff, we had a much better experience today. I have stopped going to this post office because the queue is always terribly long; even if it is a fairly large store serving an extended community, they never seem to have more than workers at the counter. I drive to another office nearby where I never have to wait for more than 5 minutes.

I needed to get two copies of my Son's MA printed, so I took them to the Post Office. My data stick didn't work, so the young man who served me, Juan, suggested emailing a copy. Which worked just fine. After printing them, I mentioned that I wanted to get them bound which he said he could do. It took him a lot of perseverance but he stuck to the task as it was an old spiral binder which doesn't get used too often. So he had to set it to get the spiral hole punch right, the spacing right and work out which size spiral binder to use. Throughout this, he was having to accept parcel drops and help other people at the counter, which was fine with me as he was running the counter solo. He was polite and helpful to everyone while having to get the binding right as well.I was very impressed with his approach and customer service skills so wanted to give him some feedback . Thank you for your time and patience while dealing with a (very) awkward process!PS He also deleted the file (as I requested) I had emailed as it was, after all, confidential and showed me what he was doing on the PC so I could see it was deleted properly.Good work all round.

I don't recognise the staff in these petty reviews. It's sadly true that people would rather write a spiteful or negative review than a good one and there's two sides to every story, so I'm going to be as honest as I can here.I'm a regular at this branch and I'm often served by the Irish man with the beard (Chris, I think?). I've seen him serving alone with a massive queue and always has a smile and a greeting for everyone. There's some people who know him by name who say hello to hin, not something you often find in places like this. I'm surprised he's not been poached by now.Knowledgeable too, I've seen him give advice to other members of staff who are stuck. I saw one review that claimed he "screamed" at another employee: I find that hard to believe. He's never raised his voice that I've seen and I honestly don't know if I'd have that same amount of patience he seems to have!They all do, in fact.And if you don't have the patience to queue, well, that's on you. It's Muswell Hill, it's busy and some people think they shouldn't have to queue? Have a bit of empathy, don't take it out on the staff, they're doing their best under difficult circumstances! Good luck to all the staff there, I don't think I could work in Muswell Hill!

I use this Post office on a daily basis sending multiple parcels and using other services the staff are always friendly professional and in some cases such as with Chris proactive he informed me of a Stamp issue for Warhammer a game I Love I parted with a well spent £108 on Limited Editions stamps all down to him sadly I have seen this great team take Unwarranted abuse from "Customers" which is mainly down to this being a busy branch and people are frustrated with the waiting which is not down to the staff but people like to have someone to blame and they always seem to handle difficult customers in a dignified manner even when faced with ignorant ranting this has prompted me to write this to say thank you to them as they are appreciated by many

Terrible attitude. Extremely slow.very rude.never want to help out.they think there doing us a favour attitude.Very Basic knowledge on what they know.sad situation when I asked to renew my road tax .I was given a reply .sorry we don't do it here...Been using this place 25 years.Then I asked 5 times for a one year fee.She totally blanked me and asked me again.Then her colluage jumped in asking me same thing.Shocked and tired after one hour in there pathetic que of arrogants.I stood up to them saying I've been asked 5 times the same thing.To my horror the guy said we can remove you from here..I need a full apology for that tone of voice and abuse..how dare he.I want senior management to speak to him.Also I was turned away from a letter I was sending.She didn't recognise the post code yet its exactly correct when I re checked.usless help .we can remove them from being rude to the paying customer...most of these reviews are shameful to read.clearly manners and customer skills are not a priority in this place.i need ro speak with the manager.

Place needs double the staff. Queue is nearly always incredibly long with an average 20 minute wait. Wish there was another post office near.
