Been very satisfied with Specsavers Muswell Hill for years. Jay the manager always knows what frames will work for me and is excellent in taking measurements etc. Super polite and helpful.They have the latest machines, not just for eye tests but more importantly diagnostic testing for a wide range of conditions and early detection.After a decade of Observatory and Panoptica exorbitant pricing - I HAVE NEVER looked back once I arrived at Specsavers!!!

I had a great experience at Muswell Hill Specsavers. All of the staff were very helpful and efficient. I was seen on time and the optician, Maneeka, took great care when checking my eye sight and explaining my options.

I had booked an eye test for my son. Today I received a call from a very rude male assistant who whilst I was asking a question regarding the appointment, didn?t let me speak on the other end of the phone, cut me off mid sentence then hung up on me when speaking. I called back immediately and spoke to another assistant who was very polite and apologetic, she seemed to know exactly who I was referring to, which is very telling! This is not the first time I?ve dealt with this male assistant on the phone he is extremely rude and unhelpful. Because of this I decided to cancel the appointment and take my business elsewhere

I had an eye test booked for myself and my elderly mother. Everyone was so helpful, efficient and polite. The store looks so modern and futuristic. We had a great experience here. No waiting around. The store is very friendly and vibrant. Well done everyone and see you next year.

Very happy with this Specsavers branch. I've used a few. Came to have new verifocal lenses put into a pair of my own frames.In brief, when there were some issues, they changed and re-did the lenses multiple times to get it right, even doing an extra eye test to check and adjust one setting.I think they ended up reglazing a pair more than once but always were willing to work with me to get it right in the end.

Have used spec-savers M/H for many years..Just ordered new glasses..Big thank you to Jai who as usual is wonderful with customers so polite & patient & very helpful. Thanks to Juliette also as I took ages to choose my frames ..Always a welcome & nothing is ever too much for the staff?I wouldn?t go anywhere else, amazing customer service .. I would readily recommend them?

Jay Dave, the practice manager showed unnecessary cruelty as I visited them today. I went here today as I was having a severe eye allergy problem which seriously impacted my work almost to the point of being unable to work or drive. The optician who saw me was professional and helpful. She suggested a prescription drop which only the GP could prescribe and considering my urgent situation, she kindly assured me that she would send her report to GP within 20-30 minutes. However, when the GP did not receive it in a few hours, I called specsavers from GP's surgery, nobody answered their phone and the call was sent to the answering machine. So, given the urgency of my situation I had to go to specsavers again and gave them the GP's email address to ensure that the email went to the correct address this time, assuming that somehow the optician's email was sent to a wrong email address.That is when Mr. Jay Dave appeared. When I requested him to let me wait for the optician at specsavers to send the email to the correct address, so that I can go back to the GP to confirm with them whether they have received my email. He plainly denied me the option to sit and wait for the email to be sent. He stopped short of throwing me out of the centre, but said all that he could to send me away. He even falsely claimed that he could not ask the optician to call me after the email has been sent. I kept telling him, no one has to call me. I was ready to sit and wait until the email was sent, so that I could go back to the GP after I knew it had been sent. But he denied giving me that opportunity to simply sit and wait. He pretended as if I was asking for some service I was not entitled to by referring to other customers who are waiting. I did not rush him to do anything for me, just asked him to allow me to sit and wait, I told him that I had paid for a service which I have not received probably due to some error in the system or server or GP service I do not know, but I was suffering, so he should kindly consider. But he did not care one bit. I told him that my situation was urgent, he argued that if it was that urgent the optician would have sent me to A&E. I told him my situation was so severe that I almost could not work or drive and not all urgent matters require A&E admission, I even told him that the optician knew my situation. But he did not care to discuss it with the optician or let me just wait to get the email sent by the optician. When he had almost forced me out of the specsavers, all of a sudden he said I could wait. I do not know what he meant by that after all the rudeness, intolerance and cruelty he had showed for the previous 10 minutes. I came out but I hope specsavers management will take note of this and either re-train this kind of people or replace them with compassionate officers.Update: I made the above post immediately after returning from specsavers. Jay called me over the phone a few hours later to confirm that the email has been sent and apologized for the incident. I appreciate the courtesy. So, I am changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

I think I was served by store manager. He did not offer me the thinnest option for my lenses. And only offered cheap ones as if those are only what they have on offer!I had to ask and then he offered. I think after that he was more polite and engaging with my choices.
