The staff who served me was inpatient and sometimes rude. When we sat down for the quotation and her accents make me confused and she was impatient to explain to me. When I asked for the pupillary distance she refused to give it to me. She said this is dispenser area not prescription area and she wouldn't give it to me. But this is the pupillary distance measurements for my glasses which I paid for. Why I cannot know? She try to get me to order the more expensive glasses and claimed that she knows the manufacturer and can get the pairs on the date I want. The cheaper pairs is from overseas and cannot guarantee on the date I want. It was her quoted 7-10 days for delivery. And the date I want is the 7 days she quoted. Also, when she did the test and took photos of my eyes. She complained I pressed too many times when the green dots aren't there. But I really saw the green dots when I pressed the buttons. We did the test 3 times. She was rude to me and her attitude blamed that my fault. She don't get what she wants she blamed me. Her hostility attitude towards a paid customer is very unprofessional.

Doctor F. Pasta, she is super friendly and professional. I was lucky she was there on Weds as normally she is there on Monday. Other staffs are helpful too.

I would give a rating of zero if that was possible, as the complete lack of customer service and utter dereliction of duty to me as the customer experienced during my recent visit to the New Malden branch was absolutely astounding.In my personal experience the counter staff and the branch manager, Annika, embodied rudeness, a complete lack of customer service and offensive behaviour, both in person and over the phone. During my recent visit to the New Malden branch, in my experience, the staff were rude, abrupt, fibbed and backtracked on what they said continuously throughout our interaction. In my opinion, the branch manager is clearly leading by example, which explains the rude and offensive approach, plus utter lack of customer service on the part of the branch staff as well.I would not recommend the New Malden branch to anyone under the current management. This branch was one that was run professionally under the previous management and during the 15+ years I have been a customer there, which is sadly definitely not the case now.

not happy with this place. Lady testing eyes and manager who ordered the glasses were conflicting I was not given choices what tupe of lens i can use inspite of the the optometrist suggested. There is very few frames on display for under 80/- individually not proiced. I was suggested to have two seperate glasses for reading and distant vision and cost me 200/- even I took the cheepst option. I did not have reading glasses and I was asked to sign on a paper with small prints which was not read it out for me or given in large print ( there are patrticaly sighted people attend how they care I wonder!)I spok to a friend who suggested I should have given verifocal or bifocal . I was unhappy about the whole atteitude and could not trust I called next day morning (within 24 hours to cancel my prescription I want to have a second opinion) I was told it was too late as I signed the form which says you cant cancel! I was very unhappy and asked can I make complaint to boots and she said no point they willre direct it to her as she is the manage! I have decided to get their glasses as I was cheated, Now practically I need another pair as I cant swap every two seconds when walking around and reading. I know there are cheaper places and lens are charged too high. Will not go back to Boots

Appointments had to be rescheduled more than 3 times- I had to cancel both my other childrens appointments. They don't follow through with what they say regarding timings.Other team members have been polite in the past. But very poor customer relations from the lady optician who spoke rudely to my daughter. Information between the team is often loose ended. All in all very disappointed.
