Very happy with my experience at Specsavers New Malden.Staff members were all friendly and professional, in particular Bhavisha Patel (Optometrist and Ophthalmic Director) who carried out a comprehensive set of eye examinations and explained her findings in a clear and relatable manner.

Very professional I had a more advanced check like an MRI as I am diabetic which was excellent value at £10 and a better report than just a retina therapy photo that you have done yearly on the NHSIt was more detailed and Bhavisha was excellent at explaining the findings which in my case were good so that was a weight lifted off my shouldersWell done Bhavisha! Excellent visit keep up the good work.

I took my two year old for an eye health check as advised by our GP following persistent eye rubbing. We were seen by Bhavisha Patel, Ophthalmic Director at New Malden Specsavers and I couldn?t fault the service. Bhavisha provided advice over the phone in advance to prepare us for the visit, she was kind and patient and she allowed plenty of time for the appointment to reduce the pressure of getting my toddler to sit still. I would really recommend taking your youngsters for their eye tests here and asking for Bhavisha as it will make things far less stressful.

Whenever I have visited Specsavers in New Malden I have always found their staff to be efficient, competent, friendly and good at seeing me on time. I'd unreservedly recommend this particular branch. Free parking in Waitrose's large nearby carpark adds icing to the cake!

Everything you need for eye care. I recently had an eye test and I was very impressed with their state of the art machinery. The selection of frames is decent with varying price across a range of styles, from designer brands to cheaper alternatives that are equally as good. I picked up 3 new pairs of glasses that all came in a different colour box. Service from the staff was exceptional. Thank you

First-rate opticians, rare these days. Brilliant service, helpful staff. The person who assisted me had a quick grasp of my problem. She spent time working out my prescription and costs ? she called my previous opticians, queried some anomalies on my prescription and all with a wonderful manner and a huge smile. They are at the top end of the high street in New Malden, just a couple of minutes walk from the mainline station, this store is ideally located. The store itself is very well organised, bright and welcoming.

I felt serious mixed feeling about this store today when I went for my eye checkup.Half the staff until I go to the optician were the best best but that lady right there (optician) omg she made me nervous and literally was rude to me.This isn?t a supermarket to rush things , eye test takes time but this lady made me do thing so quick that I don?t even know if the power she given is right! On top I paid for extra scan were I didn?t get report for it as it felt like she didn?t even talk anything about the scan to me ! Like girl? I paid for it atleast tell me what?s going on with me. To much hissing during the test , not ready to listen to any answers from me for her own questions. Omg ride it was?

I couldn't believe my order would come without UV protection after being asked about which tint and said 'brown' for the UV protection. The apprentice on that day was obviously learning but in a very unsuccessful / unhelpful way.Anyway, then it continued with me looking at the high bill over there and asking was that 'cleaning kit' worth of £30 already added in (without even checking if I would like that). Luckily I managed to ask what it was and then asked to get rid of it as I don't need cleaning solution. It's a really poor service to add something which costs and not tell anything about it unless customer asks.As if it wasn't enough what I've bared with, making my glasses order continued with measuring my distance between my pupils which obviously wasn't changed in the last 2 years as I've been a customer for more than I can even remember...What strikes me is that this was done by marking with a marker two dots on the try on glasses where approximately my pupils were. I doubt that was a precision and think the pupillary distance should never be done this way !I don't think someone who is training on the job should be making an order by themselves (at least the first ones they should be learning maybe on staff members pretending to be customers - e.g. even your staff could be a trial customer for example.. not a real person coming with a need.I am really sorry that this is how people were trained on the job, surely this can be improved.
