“The petrol part is a given really, does what it says on the tin! The Tesco part is crammed full of all of those daily type essentials you’d expect. Rarely a long wait and in my experience, never overly busy.”

“I popped into this Shell Fuel Station for a machine Costas Coffee. Whilst waiting I could see the Sales Assistant called Dean behind the counter on the till, my attention was drawn to how jolly he was with all the different customers interacting with them in a lovely way and making them laugh. He has a happy demeanour and acted in a very professional manner. When it was my turn to be served he acted the same with me, and even offered to show me different functions on my Shell App which I was not aware of and found helpful. Its refreshing to meet people like this who lift people's spirits when at the moment there is so much sadness in the world. He is a credit to Shell and Dean will encourage me to return for a happiness fix! ?”

“Very popular petrol station with a busy subway. Lots of parking around the forecourt and road outside.\\nThere is a cash point outside.\\nIgnore googles advice to double back up to the previous roundabout to go west on exit, there is a little round you can use to go back to the near roundabout.”

“Ive been coming here for years but what happened to me today was really surprising. The guy that works there Louie remembered what I usually get and had it ready for when i got to the counter. I normally avoid BP because I like the personal service of small businesses, but what happened to me today is going to make me come to this BP regularly.”

“After a bad experience with Shell on Hastings Road, it was extremely refreshing to have a wonderful effort of customer service here. Prompted if I had their loyalty card.I do now ;) thank you to the lady who processed my transaction in a professional manner.”

“25/09/2021Whilst many garages out there have sold out or taking little backhanders, these guys tried to help keyworkers, sadly the worse in people even apparent keyworkers ignored their request of £30 Maximum. Some filled their cars as well as Gerry Cans and there wasn't a great deal staff could do if they wanted to avoid abuse. Sadly they ran out of fuel whilst we were waiting but we we're running on fumes the poor chap behind had actually ran out.The gentleman explained that they had to pump the tank or something and the fuel would not be in the best state and would have to wait for it to settle, we we're advised to put no more than £10 in which was more than sufficient to get us home. They even helped the guy out behind with a Gerry Can so credit due where it's due, the guy directing the traffic wasn't even meant to be working it was his disabled daughters birthday, so thank you sir fopr trying to help Key Workers.”

“What? You say. This old railway bridge isn’t the Texaco pump station! No, but if you look up, it gives you something to look at while filling your gas-guzzling vehicle. Built back before 1900, this massive span is made almost entirely of bricks. Sure, it’s plug ugly but think of all the work that underpaid navvies did raising this old girl. Your day won’t be so bad since YOUR job is mostly talking!”
