After purchasing a (not cheap) mirror the week before and having it ordered in for collection, I went on Saturday to pick it up when I arrived I realised I didn't have the paperwork and my phone had died so I went in and explained nicely, she asked for ID which I had, then said because my BF had paid for it i need to contact him and have him contact them and went onto explain why I need the paperwork (unnecessary I'm not thick), I explained again ok but my phone is dead can you call him as you have his mobile on record you took it all when we bought it? No that was too much to ask, Apparently I needed to go make contact with him, when I made it very clear Can I use your phone right there??? Apparently they don't normally let costumers use the phone! (Seriously???)
After ME calling my BF who could have been anyone he confirms to her on the phone he is who they have on file and she gives me the mirror?? what doesent make sense is if it's a big security issue that I don't have the paperwork why let me call whoever I want???? Why not call your own Costumer on the number you have and have him confirm I'm picking it up, so security was never an issue she was rude and ignorant and I walked out with a mirror that ways a ton not one person even offered to help!
That lady should leave Laura Ashley and get a new job because she doesn't belong in costumer service I work in a luxury brand myself and I wouldn't dream of treating a costumer that way!!!!
Such a shame because all the other ladies at the front are a dream and that's ruined it for me won't be back anytime soon!!
