I was looking for a local post office to send off my renewed passport and having read previous reviews here... I was intrigued to meet the lady behind the counter and see how ripped off I would be!In fairness, the lady I met was quite chatty and relatively pleasant!This is your average post office although I am still waiting for my text to confirm my recorded delivery was in fact, delivered... I was satisfied with the customer service.However, I was told not to lick my own envelope because of "germs" which Covid or no Covid is a new one for me.

Went there today and there was a poster put up saying they're closed due to technical issues...might have been worthwhile if they updated on this website.

Had no parcel bags, Jiffy bags or any type of equipment to be able to post anything. It?s a post office. Why is this the case. This is not the only time this has happened. Absolutely woeful

This has to be the worst post office in the whole of the kent area...its ALWAYS got a problem and cannot be used... today's excuse was."we have no receipt printer". Really!!!!! Another poor excuse and yet AGAIN CANNOT post any goods.. ie.."not functional." As usual... please royal mail you need to relocate this post office as it is a total waste of every bodies time...

Completely incompetent staff. I have parcels for collection and all they can say to me after a long que was they don't have the keys and they don't know when will they have the keys. So now, my parcels are with them but they can't give it to me and they can't tell me when I should go and come back for it. Useless branch with incompetent staff. Very disappointed!

The service is always dreadful here, unbelievably slow and inefficient. Today however, I went to post two items only to be told by the staff member (who didn't even bother to look up from what he was doing to say it) "post office out today - the printer's not working". Seriously? One kiosk is not enough - there is ALWAYS a queue, so why not open up the original counters at the back. Useless, rude and a service that in no way meets the needs of its customers.

This is the worse post office in the area, no one has a clue what they are doing the staff openly tell you they have not had any training and have no idea even how to post a letter with a 1st class stamp on it, the manager is the most useless person doesnâ??t take any responsibilities for how bad and shocking the service is, you que for ages to be served by someone who hasnâ??t got a clue about where anything is or how to do anything in the post office.

I was overcharged to post a large letter here. The item weighed 60 grams (receipt showed 120g). This was all after two separate employees attempted to send the item as a regular letter (after putting it through the large letter section of the guide), and a small parcel (because it 'weighed too much' to be sent as a large letter?!) I assumed the price had been increased to send large letters, and only after noticing the doubled weight on the receipt did I query this with the manager (who posted it in the end after the attempts from the other employees), who was very rude and only responded saying 'well it's gone now and that's what's important'. AVOID THIS POST OFFICE AT ALL COSTS!

Really disappointed. There is always a queue for the post office whenever I visit, however I was pleased on this occasion that there was no need to wait. However when I arrived with my parcels the member of staff behind the kiosk turned me and another man away, as he said that he was taking his break and therefore couldnâ??t serve me. I think itâ??s unacceptable as the post office is meant to be open between those hours and I had walked down with bags full of parcels just to be turned away and to have to walk back home - today was the only day I could get to the post office this week. For a member of staff to turn people away with parcels and letters that may be urgent and in need of getting posted is unacceptable. Surely there should be another member of staff that couldâ??ve covered his break?

Useless had to queue for 10 minutes just for electric only to be told they weren't taking debit card but I could use the cash point outside so thought she was going to top up my key whilst I got cash but instead she started serving everyone else so I had to queue again for 10 minutes with an unwell toddler who was crying and had to remind her about 5 times how much money i was topping up and despite the queues it took about 10 minutes for anyone else to come on the tills. Won't be visiting again.
