I have been going here for several years for my repeat prescriptions and I find the current staff both caring and professional. You have to allowing enough time for prescriptions to "go through the system" but that said I find it works for me.

Took 6 trips to get my medication which was still wrong, and the staff were very rude and patronising I wouldn?t steep foot in there again

The majority of reviews convey a very poor impression of this pharmacy, which is especially incorrect in light of the actual circumstances. Despite the brief amount of time I was there, it was enjoyable and warm. The staff's professionalism is precisely what you would anticipate from a neighbourhood pharmacy.

Exceptional service and empathy for customers shown by your pharmacist.Because he saw beyond the tick box and saw, the real situation. If only more people could excercise compassion beyond their job!!!

The chemists are very inconsiderate and ludicrous. Firstly I had to queue up for 15 mins to be seen. They took 10 mins and returned my private prescription from a reputed doctor saying that it is a photocopy despite the signature in the prescription. I then called my doctor and he assured me that it's a real prescription and not a photocopy. I then had to stand back in the queue for another 15 mins, they again claim it is a photocopy when contested they then say they don't have the medicine in stock. Why would you call a prescription a photo copy if you don't have the medicine in stock? Shocking behaviour!Another local pharmacy who had the medicine in stock was happy to help the same day.

I still cant believe peoples negative reviews, which they leave about this pharmacy. If you want bad service go to Llyods Pharmacy in Windsor Drive. They are on another level for being absolutely rubbish. I have always found the staff at Rowlands to helpful and very friendly. I can only suggest that people give the staff a chance and don't be to quick to criticise if something is not right. We are all living in very difficult times and we all face new challenges on a daily basis but this does not give us a right to undermine or look down our noses at others who are trying to help us. No matter what issues you are having and this may be with a medication order or something else, remember we are all human and like being treated with dignity and a little respect. Showing a little understanding and changing a negative attitude can do so much for you, so before you open your mouth and start ranting and raving, take a step back and try for once to be respectful, especially if you have younger children with you, as they look up to you as their teacher in life. It is true when sometimes it is said, "don't blame the children, just take a look at the parents" !!! I use this pharmacy at least three times a month. I do not know any of the staff, only by sight, owe them nothing and am free to say what I like about them. If they were rubbish as some people say, I would right now be writing a different review. Lets give each other a chance in a very difficult and unfair world.

Like a few others I am surprised when reading the negative reviews. I can only speak of my own personal experiences and respect those who may disagree. I used to use Lloyds Pharmacy in Windsor Drive as I am a lot closer to that than Rowlands. However it got to the stage where I could not bring myself to go into Lloyds as I would have been rude to the staff, so I decided to change to another provider. Lloyds always blamed my Doctors for NOT sending my prescription which meant I always had to battle to get my medicines. Rowlands on the other hand have NEVER blamed my GP for NOT sending my prescription and have always been able to provide each and every tablet/cream/injections, you name it, they get it in. Sometimes I have had to wait a few extra days but this is NOT Rowlands fault as they can only dispense what they have in stock. Most people are unaware there are currently issues getting supplies in and this is not going to end anytime soon. Can you imagine having to stock every kind of medication, the shop would have to be the size of a football pitch, so don't get upset if they don't have what you want. To end this little rant, I can honestly say that I have always found the staff at Rowlands helpful and friendly. I am a person who gives as good as I get and a lot more, but honestly, I've never had a bad experience with them. The staff are there to provide us with a service. If we find they have not got what you want, give them time to explain why and politely ask the questions you have, without losing your temper or being rude. We need to give each other a chance. Just think of those who do not have the services we often take for granted. I feel fortunate to have what we have and thank all those who provide us with these services.

Possibly the worst pharmacy in the area, the incompetence of the pharmacist is of the highest level. They never have a complete prescription and don't have very good communication skills. They love to keep you waiting and are rude to you when you enquire how long things are going to be. Awful and should be avoided at all cost.

I'm surprised to see all the negative reviews. I always use this pharmacy and I've never had anything but good service from them.

As everyone else has stated rediculously long queues to enter. No idea why. If it's a social distancing thing I'm really not sure how helpful it is having everyone stood close together on the pavement! Went at midday only to find them shut. Returned later and waited 20 minutes just to get in. Only went to pick up a package. Really shouldn't be a DPD collection centre if they can't deal with their own customers in a reasonable time.
