Rude and incompetent employees, the Asian guy is such a rude guy. I printed my lable online and drop it off there on the clock n print desk and he telling me I should have queued so the incompetents could waste 2 hours of my life to collect a parcel. One guy working and 2 3 guys going in circles like what?s this ? You see the queue is full and they just go around doing nothing man is a joke and nobody is doing nothing. Defo need a new manager as the current one is defo an incompetent !

Most of the time only one till open and queue's are very long. If coming you have to ensure that you have time on your hands to wait for at least 30-40mins.

Honestly I get the bad reviews. I just went to send a package. First the Asian guy who was on the counter asked me if I paid for it. And i said to him like 3 times of course. I?m not a thieve. Then i asked him a question related with the time of arrival since it was a label of 48 hours, meaning it would arrive between 2-3 working days. The guy was so rude replying back to me. I get it, you can?t wait to go home, and it?s nearly closing time, but if you don?t like customer service, don?t work at a post office. I will be doing an official complaint to this brand. It?s always bad experience when I come.

Super slow - need more staff on desks or self checkout that allow you to print labels from QR and drop off. Now using Evri instead to avoid waiting 45 mins each post office visit

Two employees working for a queue of about 30 people with different queries. All I wanted to do was pick up a parcel which should take less than a minute but instead had to queue up longer than 40 minutes for a parcel pick up? WHERE IS MANAGEMENT TO PUT 2 LANES one for parcel pick up/drop off and other lane for other longer services.

I had to send a letter with important documents in it and I was really worried to send it in the wrong way.Mr KHAN has supported me and reassured it will be sent safely to the right address and he guided me step by step at the self drop machine. He has been really kind and polite.

Probably the worst and slowest post office in entire Southeast London. Endless queue, slowest service time, only one of two desks open. Better spend 15 min walking to next post office in Plumstead - it's almast always empty out there.

Painfully slow today. Went in to drop off a return and the queue was quite long, only two people were dealing with customers out of the six windows in the post office. The two that were working were trying to get through the customers as quickly as possible but they looked overworked. Management needs to employ more people or rota more in.

Customer service 0! It takes 15-20 minutes from one customer to another. Only one staff member in the conditions where there was a very long queue. Those who do the delivery were not even at the address when I had the day off especially to receive the package. They didn't leave a card, they didn't call the door, absolutely nothing. Royal mail offers you the worst experience from all points of view. In the morning I went to check if the package was at Powis Steet Royal mail but this gentleman seemed like he didn't know what he was doing... I gave him the parcel number and he looked it up in a notebook but he had no idea what he was doing. Service 0. Royal Mail in powis street is the same.

So sorry for other people bad experiences but it was my lucky yesterday I guess. I had been struggling to send a parcel to my mother for several days as I?m always late from work. Yesterday I ran there from the station and arrived 3 min before closure. The shop was empty apart from a WHSmith lady worker mopping the floor, who said they were shut. I went to see if I could use the machine and saw a post office worker mopping the floor. It was Mr Khan, who was so kind and helpful, he stopped what he was doing, and came over to me to help with the machine, which I had no idea how to use. He spent several minutes with me (past their closure time!!) until I paid for the parcel I got the receipt. What a lovely kind man! He was smiling and joking and laughing with me, and seemed to be as happy that I finally managed to send the parcel to my mother (with supplements for her painful joints). I know how super-busy they are every day, and most probably stressed - so for me it was an unreal experience I never hoped for:)). Mr Khan, you made my evening yesterday, I hope you also have lots of luck and kind people like you in your life:))))!

Lina is a star - if you can be served by her, it makes the hour wait worthwhile.Set aside 50-90 minutes to queue here.Appalling staff attitude,Dreadful service,Always busy,Self service machines rarely if ever operational,Avoid, avoid, avoid.Go anywhere else rather than this atrocious and terrible post office branch.

It needs some help. This must be the worst post office in the UK. Massive queues all day long, the self-service machines not working, two miserable workers struggling to do the job. It's also filthy in there and the WHSmith section is basically empty, hardly any assortment, zero assistance.

Awful. Worst post office ever. Queued at 1pm, but couldn't wait any longer as had to start work. Returned at 5:15pm (sign says "extended hours, close at 5:30pm), only wanted to deposit cash, that takes less than a minute. Refused to serve me, saying "we can't take cash after 5pm"! Yet their sign says they close at 5pm. Said this and that the local shop in the village I live banks my cash until 8pm, they said rudely "go there"! They really don't care. Will never go back. Been twice today, and still not been served!

Utter joke of a post office. Self service machines are never working and the queue snakes round the back of the store with absolutely no urgency shown by any of the staff. WHSmith staff look helplessly on and try to look busy to avoid complaints. Please do yourself a favour and walk 10 minutes down to the road to the much smaller but infinitely more efficient store.

Staff behind the tills don?t attempt to try to be anymore efficient or fast during busy periods, they take their time, chatting about everything under the sun, laughing like mad, taking 10+ minutes with some customers because they?re socialising, and then are rude to your face when you miss the 5pm deadline for bank deposits due to the queue. Insane.
