I like it that you could get almost all items on your shopping list but the queue instore is for th most patient. If in a hurry, it's best you shop during the early hours.

This 5 star is for the lady whom I had seen twice in the counter which is opened most of time and nearer from coin machine.. though there is other counter but I had noticed that counter is open most of time.. comparing to nearer from coin machine.. I dint notice her name tbh.. but I recognise her face on my next visit .. if u speak with all of the staff around there then she might knew she is the one, because she said she have most of the pregnant women through her counter.. though I live an hour from that tesco superstore but I prefer shopping there , as it is big store and plus got a tesco cafe 5/5 , being as a clubcard member I prefer shopping in tesco but she is the one for this 5 star review.. Next time if I see her again I m gonna ask her if she had seen my review.. every little helps,

I'm torn because the location is perfect. It's HUGE and has almost everything you're looking for but OMG try coming here on a weekend?? good lord, it's SAVAGE. You will get trampled, EVERYONE'S in a bad mood (shout out to my girl at the costumer service desk!) and the wait to check out is AT LEAST 20 minutes if you go during peak hours on a weekend

I am not familiar with Tesco in woolwich so I asked 2 staff memberd about locating photo albums. Both staff seem irritated with me and one was positively rude. I appreciate we all have off days but I didnt appreciate such unfriendly manner when as a customer I was simply asking for help.

Worst customer service. Staff are rude and show can?t be bothered type of attitude in helping polite customers. Especially couple of Jamaican and one English lady on the till will always find excuses to embarrass you and gang up and BARK on you which is pathetic and carry the lowest forms of decency.

Huge store with good range of items. However it could be cleaner and more tills need to be open.I would avoid the toilets at all cost, they are always filthy.Tills that are card only causes colleagues to get agitated and shout at customers to inform them it?s ?card only?. I have had colleagues waving the sign in my face instead of advising me in a civilised manner. I pay card only anyways so it is not a problem but this behaviour with card only till needs to be addressed.

Tesco is a good store, but not mums friendly.Went to use the toilet after shopping and there was no toilet amenities at the baby?s change room ( which does not seem to be cleaned regularly) the disable toilet was locked and the push chair with my son does not enter into the ladies toilet I can?t close the door with my son inside, so went to the security guy asked if he had the key for the disable one he said I was not disable, I said yes I can see and explained the situation, but he said no in a very rude mood. So I went back and had to pee with the door open because leave my son unattended outside was not an option. I find this situation very stressful and humiliated for a mum and a child. Tesco what would cost you put a toilet inside the baby?s change room? There is enough space for the baby push chair and there is an old chair already inside , you really should look into it.

Good range of product at this Tesco extra, but almost always long queues because about half the tills are open and often 1 or 2 of the self checkouts out of operation. So expect to wait 10 minutes in queue at a checkout more often than not. Shareholder profit > customer convenience, your time is their money through payroll savings.

This is a cool one stop and shop place to buy your groceries and home goods. Need a membership to access the deals and prices.

Traffic flow is terrible, there is no till for people with just a handful of item. A quick stop to buy milk is automatically leading to a 10mn long queue. The queues are so long that it prevents access to one main artery of the shopping area.everythint is fine but that is enough to make me think twice about shopping there.

This store is a joke. The only reason I use it is because of the Pharmacy and cat food. The ques are always long. Even though they have lots of tills, there is never anyone operating them. I can't believe the Managers are doing nothing about this. Also the price match to Aldi is a joke. The price may be the same but the amount you get is not. So actually you do pay more in the end.

Poor customer checkout management!!! Takes ages to leave the store because it does not have the capacity to cope with the huge volume of people that this store is now local to. Management and shareholders keep pushing back the tillpoint upgrades needed from October 2022 to a vague ?next year.? The store simply cannot cope with demand at literally any time, and nothing is being done about it.

In general, I enjoy using the store and staff are very helpful. However, the lift provision is a disgrace. The indicators to show whether the lift is going up or down from the first floor do not work and the call button on the first floor does not work, so there is no way of telling whether the lifts are actually in service. The lifts are essential to those with prams and buggies and those with limited mobility. Could some attention please be given to these issues?
