Customer service was quite poor, no assistance in selecting frames to suit face types or style. I was also having an existing pair of frames fitted with new lenses which seemed to baffle the staff and tried to tell me the frame were old and worn out without even seeing them. They are high quality designer frames barely worn worth about triple the cost of any frame you had in store.\\nUpon getting my existing frames back they have removed the nose pads which were the original and branded and replaced with flimsy gel pads which I did not ask for. I did not notice this until getting home. (They did not consult me to ask if I wanted these changed, really quite annoyed someone has taken these without asking!)\\nI?ll be going elsewhere in future to have my eyes tested and for any new frames. A suggestion to train your sales staff to show genuine interest in customers in an engaging and friendly tone.

Really helpful staff. Had my kids glasses broken and had been bought from another branch of Specsavers and they replaced them with no issues at all in 30 mins or so. Great service.

The small woman on the front desk wore no mask and did not have a good attitude. Plus she tried to charge me £35 rather than the agreed £25. However the eye specialist was excellent and thorough in her examination.

Awful customer service and rude staff!\\nA few days before my appointment I called this store to reschedule my appointment to a different time 20 mins later on the same day. The person I spoke to said it was fine and said they had booked me in.\\n\\nOn the day of the appointment I arrived on time and waited in the queue to be served. There was a customer in front of me that the assistant was chitchatting with for a very long time. I was seen after 15 minutes at 5.10pm. When she looked for my details on the system for my appointment she said that I had already missed my appointment. I told her that I called to reschedule a few days before.\\n\\nShe then went and spoke to another staff member and came back. She apologised and said that it was a fault from their end that someone forgot to reschedule my appointment and that I'd have to come back another day, baring in my mind I had requested to leave my job early in order to make this appointment. I told her I wasn't willing to come back and that I wanted to be seen straight away as staff forgetting to book in appointments has nothing to do with me. She went back and spoke to someone. She then told me that the optometrist would be leaving in 20 mins so nobody was able to see me, despite the fact that there were 2 other people waiting to be served behind me. She then had the audacity to say that it's too late for my appointment as it's 15 mins past the rescheduled appointment so I would've been late anyway. I told her that's ridiculous as I was on time but had to wait in a queue because you were busy having a lovely chat with a customer for 15 mins! Unbelievable and shocking customer service!\\n\\nNot one manager was even willing to come and speak to me to rectify this situation which was extremely unprofessional. No offer of compensation or anything of the sort for wasting my time. I will be having my eye tests done at a different store from now on.

Paid for my glasses and had to wait 2 weeks which is expected. Telephoned the store to confirm my appointment Saturday morning, at 17.10 I get a call to say my glasses did not pass with the in store technician? I asked what was wrong and they couldn?t tell me? I went to the store, they still could not tell me? I then asked when they would be ready, and they said maybe another 7-10 days? Worst opticians ever. Staff are the most unhelpful, uneducated idiots I have ever come across. Ruined my daughters day and didnâ??t care. Would never step foot in another Spec savers store again.

Had to spend half an hour in store, trying almost every pair of glasses. But the staff didn't approach me at all. Was ready to spend my money there, had my prescription with me. But for some reason they decided to help other customers, that came in store after me. End up buying my glasses from Boots.

Probably won't go back to Specsavers. The optitians are great and the process of having our eyes tested was super - 5 stars. But the follow-up and wait for glasses was AWFUL. We had our appointment on 27th March and were promised 1 pair by the following Wednesday. When we arrived on that day the promised pair was not ready and the technitian was out to lunch. We came again the next day and were made to wait most of our lunch hour while the technition did the glasses while we waited. We were then promised a call when the other 3 pairs of glasses would be ready. Not such call came. I rang in to find that one additional pair was available, but we didn't get a call about that. It's now a month later and we are still waiting, have not had call backs when promised and have still not got the 3 pairs we are waiting for and none of the above has been comminicated to us - we've had to chase it all up ourselves. I have no doubt that the team at Putney Specsavers are over worked. They are all really friendly when we pop in, but unfortunatley have let us down.
