This branch has a couple of good stylists. However, my personal experience has been very stressful. The information regarding coloring or promotions and pricing and dates is not consistent, too vague and the offers are not mentioned to you during the appointment call. Basically, Headmaster's has raised their prices and in return introduced promotions where it is difficult to know what day, time, status, or sale you're paying for.I booked a hair colour special and blow dry. The blowdry took literally 10 minutes and I was charged over £70 in addition to the colour treatment. There was a set price and either the stylist, that seemed to be familiar with the store, was not aware of the £ 30 or sadly to say he/she was extremely greedy.Another visit where I literally timed the blow dry to be a 10 minute blow-dry and a rush hair-colour treatment when the hair colour treatment could have been slowed down and another person could have dried my hair would have allowed me to feel less rushed and stressed out. When booking, I was told that the stylist didn't have time to do the blow dry and someone else would do it and I was OK with that. However, this was not the case. My guess is there are financial incentives for stylists to have more treatments done so that the stylists are rushing to squeeze as many treatments or clients as possible for which in return creates a very uncomfortable and stressful situation for clients.Going to Headmasters is like going to an open bazaar and everyday is different and exciting. If you love to negotiate, be rushed, wait or need a quick 10 minute blow dry with a price tag of £70, where there are some good stylists, this may be OK for you. However, it you are looking to have a pleasant and relaxed experience, I do not advise to go.

Avoid Headmasters unless you know that the stylist is good, otherwise it's a hit and miss experience. I paid £190 for a terrible cut and balayage colour, and no one really cared that I'd had such a poor service. No apology from anyone in the store and a basic apology from head office when I contacted them to request a refund (don't expect them to offer one unprompted, and you won't be able to get one directly from the store). I get the sense this happens so often they're just not bothered by it. I went to a much better salon to get it fixed (which cost more money than the original cut) and they told me they get a lot of people coming from Headmasters Richmond for correction.

Tarryn was absolutely amazing at doing my balayage. She put so much care and precision in to it. It came out better than I hoped! Such a lovely salon with friendly staff, can?t wait to come back!

Had an appointment here at 15:00 on 01/10, the receptionist took me to my seat and I waited for my hairdresser. After waiting for 40 minutes with no one acknowledging me, I walked up to the reception and no one was there, I decided to walk out. I called up after leaving to see what had happened and if there could be a solution. I was told that the stylist wasn't informed by the receptionist that I had arrived. I was offered a free treatment and was booked in for the following day with a more advanced stylist. On the day of my amended appointment I received a phone call saying they cannot proceed because there wasn't enough time to carry the appointment out. Really disappointed, I feel completely messed around and wasted so much of my time for a place that doesn't respect it.

Worst experience ever. Did my regrowth tint and blowdry with Greca and it was not an experience I expected. The quality of the hair brushes and air dryer was not up to the standard and the hair colour wasn't performed in a professional manner. When I told her I am not happy with the experience she started creating a scene and telling the other agents that the lady is not happy. Horrible experience overall. I had to leave the salon with just the root touch up

Safe to say I won?t be returning. It was my first experience with headmasters and an awful one. I arrived and was initially ignored by all 3 hairdressers working. After making numerous attempts to make eye contact with a hairdresser she greeted me. I then sat and waited a further 10minutes, having to go back up to the desk to ask when I would be seen by my hairdresser. She finally came over and informed me that her diary had a clash and I would have to wait 30 minutes. No apology and basically I had to deal with it. Shocking customer service and felt as though the blame was on me.

Absolutely terrible service l phone yesterday a spoke to the Manager of the Salon at 9.30 am and he said he would call me back he never did l rang twice again and he still did response l understand he might be busy but dont say ur going to return a call and then dont especially the Manager bad customer service l am so suprised because Headmasters are usually excellent

Headmasters, thank you! Professional, consistent and visionary. I am getting so many compliments on my new hair colour! A few foils and a subtle caramel toner - Melissa instinctively knew what to do with my dull, brassy and damaged hair. One small retouch with a huge effect! You really deserve 5*

The hairdressers are excellent and friendly but problems in recruiting good staff to wash hair and clean up the salon. The salon needed a good sweep and the chairs a good clean. I had to ask a hairdresser to remove hairs from a seat that was offered to me. A Heath and Safety issue here in cleanliness.The towels used to dry my hair were torn and basically I was given a shower as well as a hair wash. The hairdresser had to dry me off since my top and back of skirt was very wet. Not good at all for any hairdressing salon. The hairdresser deserves a 5 star but the condition of the salon zero stars
