There is a problem with Barclays Bank, they look down upon customers, they don't treat you with the dignity you deserve. You are treated as though you are a bigger when actually you are taking your own money into that bank. It's upsetting but Lloyd's bank are professional

This is not the first time I had a bad experience with the staff in Barclays. They want more and more people having an account with Barclays but clearly they cannot train their staff to be nice and kind to the customers. Many times I have been to Barclays for some issues and the people working there are wearing suits but do not have any manners. They speak rudely and clearly do not wanna be there. I am really upset about the experience I had with one of the staff members of Barclays. I expect an apology from that person and I hope they know who they are because they are a really rude person.ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!!HALIFAX IS A MUCH BETTER BANK WITH TRAINED AND POLITE STAFF!!NEVER GONNA GO TO BARCLAYS EVER AGAIN!Bad customer service from everyone. It was a woman who made me wait so long and then threatened to stop the meeting. Clearly an unprofessional way of dealing with customers.Very disappointed!!!

Service provided is okay once you get to a banker. I had to go to the upstairs part to actually talk to someone, I went at lunchtime, and quickly realised that all bankers go to lunch together at the same time. This means if you somehow get there right before they go, you have to wait for them to go get lunch, eat it and then be ready to see you. Surely there would be a process in place that they take turn?

I bank with Barclays however the customer service is so slow. I have been in the bank now for 30/40 minutes waiting in line. There is now a que of people behind me and there is only 1 receptionist whilst there are 4 other employees standing there doing nothing. I think that the process needs to be quicker. I am thinking about leaving this bank. But the first time it?s happened

Not even 1 star they deserve. but they not letting anyway...1st my wife wasn't allowed join my account with her European ID card only if she had Passport, seems they have, make their own rules.Don't you even dare walk in on this Branch, terrible, horrendous customer service. They clearly don't know what they are doing. All staff are a waste of space.Myself if I had to write on here all my bad experiences with this Branch I would be here hours writing.Anyway just closed the Account before closing it I was told to cash all the money and then go upstairs to talk to a staff member who then closed the account as she said she did.. even after that she still hasn't done her job as she should should because few days later I get a message saying that I was overdraft ????Yes it's true that's how bad they are.Definitely Natwest, loyds are on another level ?Barclays Bank should be one of if not the bestBad, Bad. Bad

Terrible Service at Branch Visit on June 13thI recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Barclays when I visited their branch on June 13th. It is with great frustration that I write this review to express my dissatisfaction with the level of service I received. From the moment I stepped into the branch, it was clear that my needs as a customer were not their top priority.I went to the Barclays branch with the simple task of depositing £30 into my account. However, to my dismay, the money never made it into my account. I immediately approached the counter to seek assistance, hoping that the staff would address the issue promptly and efficiently. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The two ladies who attended to me seemed disinterested and provided minimal assistance. Instead of taking immediate action to resolve the matter, they simply brushed it off and informed me that I would have to wait for two days and check my account for any updates. Their lack of urgency and unhelpful attitude left me feeling frustrated and let down as a customer. What further added to my dissatisfaction was the excessive waiting time. It took me nearly an hour to finally receive any assistance. As a customer, waiting for such an extended period is completely unacceptable, especially considering the relatively simple nature of my request. It appeared that the branch was understaffed and ill-prepared to handle the influx of customers, resulting in significant delays and customer frustration.Furthermore, one of the staff members, a lady with an arm casket, displayed unprofessional behavior throughout the interaction. Her dismissive attitude and lack of empathy only served to amplify my frustration. It is disheartening to witness such unprofessional conduct from a representative of a well-established banking institution like Barclays.Overall, my experience at Barclays on June 13th was marked by terrible service. The failure to process my deposit promptly, the unhelpful and dismissive attitude of the staff members, the excessive waiting time, and the unprofessional behavior of one staff member all contributed to my disappointment. As a long-standing customer of Barclays, I had higher expectations for the quality of service provided. Unfortunately, this experience has left me questioning my loyalty to the bank and contemplating whether it is time to explore alternative banking options.
