Good place for modern and contemporary furniture. Always ask for items on sale and also feel the need to divulge into the fine print regarding delivery times so you wont be disappointed. There is a lot of fabrics and colors to choose from so make sure you have an idea about what colors you are going for on the color spectrum.

Service provided by Gareth Light. Purchased 6 chairs. Gareth was very polite, professional and helpful. He did not do the usual pushy salesman approach. He left us to browse and informed us of where he would be if we needed help. When we decided upon a product, he helpfully did a compare and contrast with similar products to ensure we had the right chair to suit us. He also did a comparison on prices as he understood our budgets and worked to that. All round, I?d recommend shopping from this store. The product was excellent and looks great in our home.

Astonishing and disgusting after service. Never order in store, always try to order from the website so you can deal directly with furniture village and the T&C stated on the website rather than this store as they have their own terms and conditions which are separate from the main site!!!Firstly, we ordered a mattress from the store and realised there was an offer on at the time of us ordering where you receive two free pillows with the mattress. We were told by the sales consultant that they would add this to the order and therefore they would be delivered with the mattress. We have all this correspondence on email. However, this was not the case and when we asked what had happened, the sales consultant Jody was very quick to say it?s not their problem as it?s been delivered now and also nothing can be changed as orders cannot be altered after 48 hours of placing an order despite the fact we had raised this within 48 hours of placing our order.They also did not stick to their dispatch date. There was no communication regarding the status of the order. If you order directly from the furniture village website you will have the comfort of tracking your order and being able to quickly ask on the status so please do this if you?re able to unless you wish to wait multiple hours on hold with the Romford storeWe tried calling on numerous occasions but be ready to wait atleast an hour to speak to a consultant if phoning up and trying to discuss an order already placed! They will however happily speak on new orders.Disgusting customer service. Once they have your order, they lose all sense of customer satisfaction.And beware that you only have 48 hours for cancellation. If you order directly from the furniture village website you will have considerably longer.Try to find the item you like in store and order it online from the generic furniture village website rather than suffer with the hands of this Romford team.

It's a hassle to buy stuff from furniture village. I DO NOT recommend. First I have placed an order 269196531 for a bed on 30th April. I got the delivery on 24th June where it came in as a wrong size. I had to request for return and the replacement order came on 1st July - This time the bed's head board is damaged. The item is returned again finally got the recent delivery on 26th Aug., This time base board for mattress is missing. I am really exhausted with the service and delivery of Furniture village. All this while I had to call the customer helpline and inform them for the missing stuff. Even the delivery guys are not bothered to give a basic update to the company after the installation is done. Its very frustrating for me to chase the people at Furniture village multiple times. I am very dissatifued with the customer service and do not recommend anyone to buy from them. I have attached pictures for reference.

Due to husband becoming blind we are having to downsize and need new furniture that is suitable. Went to Furniture village and met a very helpful assistant who listened to our needs and showed us sofa and armchairs that hit the spot. Everything was explained perfectly down to mechanism, material, colour and we came away very happy to have purchased a lovely sofa and chair.Excellent service.

We were greeted by Kam Sahota who gave us time to look around, and when needed provided us with helpful, professional advice which helped us to make our final decision. We had never purchased from Furniture Village before but were really impressed with the service, patience and in-depth knowledge provided by Mr Sahota.

Gareth Light was a perfect gentleman and we wasn?t rushed into any order. He gave professional advice on sofa and sofa care. Last year I was looked after by David when a family member and I was looking to find a new bed frame & mattress which I have been obsessed over ever since we brought it; so we were very joyous to be catered to by David again, a little over a year later when we came back to furniture village in search of a new wardrobe. The quality seems to be authentic & it is worth the money

I wouldn?t purchase from this store very disappointing. I ordered a lot of furniture and after it was delivered I was missing an item. After months of calling the store and speaking to the staff and them telling me I would still receive it on numerous occasions they still have not delivered the missing item and told me that they had been messaging the wrong supplier after all this time. I have not given up on getting the item as it should have been delivered 3 months ago as it was on my order. The service and customer service is very poor indeed.
