I went to get my yearly eye test. Mr Ali and staff were friendly and gave me some good advice to look after my eyes. Would definitely recommend them for their services. I replaced my old frames for a new pair and was charged reasonably for the new pair of glasses.

I visited J H Peters a few weeks ago and had a fantastic experience. It had been years since my last eye test, and since I spend a lot of time on the computer, I needed to get my eyes checked. Mr. Ali conducted the eye test, and I ended up getting a new pair of reading glasses. I recently received them, and they are really comfortable to wear, especially during work.

I have been a client at J H Peters for a little over 3 years now.My disabled mum has been a customer also for over 15 years. My mum has always welcomed the personal touch and professionalism received at J H Peters . We learned the business has recently changed hands due to retirement of the former owner Christine Bull.I have today been for an eye test to measure up for my new contact lens under the new ownership and have to say I am really very impressed indeed. The new owner / optometrist Ali Thaver performed a very thorough eye examination and made myself and my mum feel very welcome from the outset by opening the door , greeting us and providing a rubber ramp for the wheel chair. Little things really go along way.Whilst there my mum purchased a new set of frames with assistance by the owner and the expertise of the experienced long serving staff.Unlike the big chains they offered glasses at the price range my mum wanted to pay and did not try selling her the highest price pair as the big stores do. All round 5* .With thanks .

Took my son for an eye test and the service was fantastic. Mr Ali was so lovely, patient and professional.Thank you so much. The reception team were very helpful and the service we recieved today was 5 stars.

Went there today for an eye test. From my initial encounter with the three lovely receptionists to that with the optician (forgive me, I forgot your name. I'm not as young as I used to be) I was given a warm and friendly welcome. Would definitely recommend. 5 star service.

Great options, been here since my parents from a little girl, I take my own children here and some have grown up now and are still going there . It's been over 20 years now , people are very welcoming , helpful, polite and always send reminders in the post for when your next eye test is due . I recommend this optitions to any one .

A week ago we called in to see wether it was possible for the optician to be a referee for child citizenship application, we were adviced by lovely receptionist to come in on Tuesday to see the optician and discuss this matter. I came in today with my mum and brother and left in shock. The optician was so rude, she was shouting at us for no reason. I cant explain how she was acting but she was very angry, screaming at us while walking back and forth making us feeling super uncomfortable, we had my brother with us who is 9 years old and he witnessed all of this and was very confused as to why the optician treated us like this. We received this attitude only because we came to inquire wether she should be a referee, she could have just calmly said that she can not as she knows the child 2 years 11 months not full 3 years, about which I also wasnt 100% sure wether it has to be 3 years. I didnt raise my voice, didnt scream back at her, didnt give her attitude so I did not deserve to be spoken to like this especially from a professional. My mum is registred patient here and so is my brother but now we will be looking for another optician practice where we can be treated with respect and in normal manner from optician and not screamed on. Utterly unacceptable to speak in this manner with your patients. PS over the years we didnt come across any issue with the practice up until now.

I have just recently moved to Chadwell Heath so was looking for a new optician.I went there for a repair and met with the optician.I could not believe how rude she was. This optician has no customer service skills at all.She basically told me to get out of her shop, she spoke to me like i wasn't welcome.Diabolical attitude.

Great local opticians, they very kindly fixed the arm on my glasses recently where other opticians told me I needed to replace them. I'm very grateful and very happy. They're super friendly and knowledgeable :) highly recommended
